  • Excellent home, comfortable with great amenities

"We played Bear Trap Dunes so perfect for us, but it is a great house for anyone who wants to stay in the Bethany Beach, Dewey Beach or Ocean City (a bit farther) area. Very clean and comfortable, tons of amenities and very central. Service from Steve and Beth (property owners/managers) was excellent as well. Would highly recommend."

  • Very Relaxing, Enjoyable Vacation

"My family and I vacation at Bethany every year and 2nd time stay at Sea Colony. The sea colony is a great community for bike rides, runs and all the amenities that are offered. Short walk to the beach and the local restaurants. Meredith was a pleasure to work. The condo is well kept and offers plenty of room. I must add situated in a nice part and quiet. The deck provides a nice view and great place to sit and drink coffee and dinners. A definite place to return too."

  • Great Family Vacation

"Our family (all 8 adults and 2 grandchildren) spent the week here and found this house perfect for our needs. Everyone was able to have a room and having 3 full bathrooms made the accommodations perfect. The house was clean and the appliances were quite up to date. We especially loved the refrigerator with the ice maker and filtered water. The furniture throughout was a bit worn, but still comfortable. The bedrooms were carpeted and a few had some stains, but otherwise they were fine. The location of this house was a block from the beach, restaurants, bars, only a mile from the boardwalk, and in a quiet residential area. The house was air-conditioned, however, during the heat of the day the living room area did get a bit warm. (but we were at the beach anyway!) We did have internet access which kept us up to date on emails, etc. Cleaning supplies were available as well as vacuums and extra comforters (we brought our own). We also loved having a washer and dryer! We would definitely return here the next time we plan to go on a Rehoboth or Dewey vacation."

  • Perfect for Vacation with Dogs

"Loved, loved, loved the house for our vacation with our dogs! The house is literally 30 ft from the beach and Delaware Bay with a fantastic view of the sunrise. Inside was clean and comfortable with an open-concept layout with stylish yet relaxed furnishings...perfect for a carefree vacation. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were beautiful. The beach is dog friendly...just remember to pick up and keep them on a leash. Be aware that Broadkill is a "natural" beach...meaning no cleaning by the city. We found the best time to take walks was during low tide...and we have developed a new appreciation for the horseshoe crab. We even met a few neighbors who could not have been nicer. We visited a week after the "busy" season and only saw a few passers-by each day (we saw a few more people/dogs on the weekend). Secure fencing/gates around the lower level of the house allowed us to let our dogs roam freely without the constant need for leashes. Broadkill Beach is a private and secluded area, but close to other activities...we watched Ravens and Orioles games at Grotto Pizza and Green Turtle in Lewes 12 minutes away, took the Dogfish Head brewery tour, visited the farmers market in Rehoboth and spent an afternoon in Betheny. And let's not forget Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge...5 minutes away for amazing birding, kayaking and hiking."
