  • Lovely condo/great value!

"We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the condo, even though we had read the reviews. Close to the beach, shopping, restaurants- the location cannot be beat. We will definitely return here and highly recommend this 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condo to anyone needing a place to stay in Rehobeth Beach. We feel lucky we found this condo."

  • Pick this one!

"My family just returned from this fabulous little condo. It is actually nicer than the description. We came with 2 adults, 3 teens, and 2 kids. There was plenty of bedding for all upstairs. The bed described as being in the "foyer" is actually in the upstairs hall, which is huge. It has a window that could use some covering just because the morning sun streams in. The bedrooms have a little more room than the pictures imply. The master bedroom has a work desk with a printer on top (not sure if it works, I did not try it) as well as a night stand and a TV cabinet with some drawers. No dresser, so not a lot of drawer space, but 2 closets. There is a high-walled balcony with a table and chairs. The bedroom with the other queen bed is beautiful, nice and dark in the morning, and has a walk-in closet! The bunk bed room is a standard "kid room," with space on the floor for playing board games (or scattering dirty laundry, like my kids do). On the ground floor in the living area, there is ample seating for eating around a medium sized dining table, plus a table in the Florida Room and another table in the large eat-in kitchen. There are also 2 barstools alongside a counter. The living room had a super comfortable seat-and-ahalf, which my 2 kids fought over. There is a very large TV with DVD player, though it seemed a bit "touchy" (some of our disks would not play in it). There is also a stereo but it appeared to not have speakers...we could not get it to work. The whole place is tastefully decorated. We loved having the 2 refrigerators including a water/ice dispenser. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of dishes, flatware, pots, pans, etc. There were some games available for us, lots of paperback novels, some beach toys for the kids, and a few beach chairs to borrow. The house is located very close to the fitness center and its outdoor pool, as well as to 2 tram stops. Since it is an end-unit, it has a nice side porch with cushy chairs to relax on. Next time I would bring a drying rack to hang my wet towels on. I understand clothes lines are not permitted. All in all, I would highly recommend this clean and welcoming unit."

Delaware Travel Tips

Getting to Delaware Vacation Rentals

Delaware is conveniently located near four of the major eastern metropolitan areas. It is within an easy day's drive from Philadelphia, Washington DC, Baltimore and even New York City. The Delaware Memorial Bridge is a twin-span suspension bridge that crosses the Delaware River into New Jersey. There are several ferries providing access to Delaware. The Cape May Lewes Ferry Crosses the mouth of Delaware Bay from Cape May in New Jersey to Lewes in Delaware. The Three Forts Ferry crosses from Delaware City to Fort Delaware and Fort Mott which are both located in New Jersey. Many people who visit like to have a car to explore the coastline. If you are traveling from further afield, you can easily rent a car upon arrival at the airport. Delaware is the only state that does not have its own commercial airport. But given its proximity to the major cities, this is not really an issue. For international travelers, you can fly into JFK or Newark airports near New York City.
