  • Great Place

"Had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful. It was very convenient having a boat slip. Room to crab and just minutes from the inlet. Look forward to booking it again next year."

  • Perfect for family

"2 short blocks from the beach. Very accessible -- spacious outside shower, front and back doors make coming and going easy (keyless), and porch ensures the sand and "stuff" don't mess up and clutter the house. Everything worked in the kitchen and the grill (thanks to responsive real estate professional). AC kept the place cool and the two showers, laundry machines, etc. all made for an effortless time at the beach."

  • Location, location, location.....

"Four stars was a stretch but..... This is a small place (studio) located in just the right spot... a few steps to the boardwalk and beach and a short block to the "strip" so to speak. The property is small, perfect for two, can sleep four. There is no stove so no cooking, but a microwave and fridge are there. Remember to bring your own linens and towels. Blankets are inside the couch compartment. There were 4 of us for a couple nights, it was tight but manageable. The weather cooperated so there was really no down time inside. The TV is like a small computer monitor, I don't think we even turned it on. As far as cleanliness is concerned, it's ready for a deep clean. It certainly was not offensive and isn't a deal breaker for future consideration. More cleaning supplies should be made available (unless we didn't look hard enough) and the light shower pressure made cleaning the shower more tedious. We cleaned to our comfort level and it was fine during our stay. Definitely left it cleaner than we found it. Parking is VERY TIGHT but it worked out fine with no mishaps. Parking in town is very restrictive, something to keep in mind. A minor irritant is the odor from the kitchen vents nearby but it definitely depends on prevailing winds and if you have the windows open. It's not a 24 hr issue. Sometimes the odor was delightful, others, not so much. The key to this property is location, price, and convenience. Compared to some local hotels that may have more space, amenities, or service, we saved a ton of money by lifting a finger or two to make the place our own for 5 days. So, if you're looking for a place to park your car, drop your stuff, shower, sleep, and nothing more, this place is worth consideration. Location, location, location."

  • Great family reunion location

"I had my entire extended family stay here for a week of beach fun. The crew included 7 children between 6 and 12 years old. There was plenty of room for everyone and the layout was great. On the plus side, the condo is right in the middle of all the Dewey excitement, within a few blocks of all the great restaurants, bars, and stores. On the double plus side, it was perfectly quiet, just far enough away from the bar scenes so as not to be disturbed. By far the best part was the proximity to the beach. 50 yards from the front door and you are on the beach, with no busy streets to cross. The kids could go back and forth without dragging the adults along. The loft was hot, but 3 girls slept up there all week with a fan and zero complaints. There was great access to free paddle board and kayak rentals which we used almost every day. The one downside--we had to bring our own linens and towels, but that was a small thing. We will be back!"
