  • Loved It!

"This is a fantastic property. Very well maintained and the decor is lovely without being stuffy. There is a perfect balance of style and comfort here. It doesn't feel at all like a rental. It feels like a home. Trust all the reviews that say this house has everything because it does. I have to admit, I've taken so long to write a review because I want to keep the place to myself. I guess I'll just need to book early."

  • Wonderful beach stay - Lots of memories

"This is a wonderful condo to stay in. Perfect location, attractive decor, well stocked dishware. The owners are really friendly. Spend time on the beach, boardwalk, pool, it's all there. Great restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Perfect for family with kids. My wife and I came with our 15 month old son, and he had a blast. Even when you are in the condo, you are still at the beach with a wonderful view. Highly recommended. Would love to come back every year."

  • Luxury at the beach!

"My family of three (couple + 5 year old) spent a week at Laughing Gull with a family of four (couple + 5 and 8 year olds). It was perfect! In fact, we ended up having an extra bedroom since the little girls wanted to share the twin room, but when one caught a cough mid-week, we could easily separate them. Two king master suites with massive bathrooms, luxurious tubs, and comfortable beds were the refuge of the parents. The kid rooms were all on the floor below the main living area, so it was easy to put the kids to bed and stay up watching movies, playing games or just talking without worrying about waking the kids. Great layout for multiple families! We could have had an extra couple with us and it would not have felt crowded at all. Easy and safe walk to the beach for little ones - no whining about having to walk too far! Ate almost every meal on the huge SCREENED deck (there are two) just off the kitchen/living area. Delightful. Parking easy and plentiful. We walked to town several times, which was fun and a nice break from getting in and out of the car. The "beach closet" was well stocked with chairs, toys, umbrellas to add to our own stuff - so we wanted for nothing at the beach. Outdoor shower off the back deck was so convenient that the kids were always clean! The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, very well stocked, great grill out on the deck - basically everything you'd want or need. Plenty of together space for a large group either for a meal or just in the living area, but easy to retreat to one of the decks or bedrooms for a break from the crowd. So the perfect location, plus a wonderfully designed and outfitted house can only be made better by: the owners. Helen and Steve are great. Helen was in touch from the beginning via e-mail. The materials she sent about the house were elegant, clear, and extremely helpful. It was such a relaxing week at the beach partially because the months leading up to it were such a pleasure dealing with Helen. All was as advertised - and then some. Helen thought of everything and was so kind and attentive. I cannot recommend Helen or the itself house highly enough - especially for anyone looking for a truly relaxing beach vacation with every comfort provided! We will definitely be returning!"
