  • Excellent home for a family vacation!

"We have vacationed for several years at Bear Trap Dunes and this home has everything that a family could possibly need. The home is spacious and decorated so that you feel right at home. The owners provide lots of extras as well... such as bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. We will continue to rent this house for years to come!"

  • great beach vacation!

"Some friends and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The place was exactly as described, and we had a really great time. The owner was very accommodating and responded quickly to my emails. The location was perfect and the neighbors were quiet. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Rehoboth. Thanks for everything!"

  • Lovely Beach House

"The house was beautifully and comfortably furnished(even the bunk beds usually intended to sleep children were comfortable for adults), close to the beach and conveniently located. Its just far enough from OC to enjoy some quiet and close enough to OC to easily drive in to OC for some fun. Everyone in my family agreed that we would stay here again."

  • Nice place

"This condo was a nice place for our 5 adults and 2 kids. It had pretty much everything you need for a week at the beach--laundry, full kitchen with all the pots, pans, etc. that you could need, beach chairs and beach toys. We had a good time here...although it got off to a bad start. When we arrived, after driving all day to get there and finally got the kids to bed, we pulled down the covers and the beds weren't made! And this wasn't the bad part-- it took us 45 minutes to find the right sheets for each bed! So the first night was pretty disaterous, everyone was tired and pretty irked by this. If we had known, we would have prepared the beds earlier. The sheets were in a closet upstairs, in the bedroom closets, and we later found some in the dryer downstairs. None of them had tags so it took us forever to figure out which ones went with which beds. Very annoying. The place was tastefully decorated... if I were being picky I would say it could use some new carpet--when we first arrived the first impression was that it was pretty stained, a big stain in the living room when you first walk in and the stairs' carpet wasn't in the best of shape. But for a week it was fine. The kitchen is pretty stocked. We did find quite a lot of expired goods that we discarded for the next tenants, but we contributed a lot of basics too like garbage bags, cooking oil, sugar etc. So it would be best to bring your own cooking food, etc. The location was pretty nice. We had never been to Rehoboth before, but this was located right on the main drag and everything was close by. Just a tip--if you've never been to the area before, the weekends are a mess with traffic, but the week days are good. So the Sunday to Sunday reservation worked great for us (If we had arrived on a Friday we would have thought that horrendous traffic was the norm!) Also, I wouldn't depend on the "toy" room upstairs--everything was pretty much a mess in that room, puzzles and toys were stashed all over, so I would bring your own entertainment for the kids. And the condo's listing said something about the beach bus coming to the Palms, but we never saw it and heard that it doesn't come there, you have to drive to a Park N Ride nearby. We didn't need it but just wanted to mention it in case you do, I would call the realtor first to confirm this."
