"My husband, two daughters (8 & 10) and I stayed here for 5 nights. The apartment was just as advertised. Very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. We only ate a couple meals there, but it was nice to have the option. The linens and towels were high quality, and everything was in working order. The owners provided a nice guide with recommendations for restaurants and things to see, and there was a bin full of pamphlets for sightseeing and maps. We highly recommend The Heights for brunch and dinner and the Coffy Cafe for excellent crepes."

"The location was great - so close to the metro and local restaurants. Trader Joe's was right around the corner for groceries. The kitchen was great. We were able to have breakfast every morning. The furnishings were nice and the apartment was cozy and kept in good working order. The apartment was secure with locked door at the street and inner door with deadbolt though the neighborhood was nice. Lovely stay, and would love to come back again."

"Old house in a beautiful neighborhood provided an authentic experience. We stayed here in spring. 4 mothers and 4 teenage boys. Convenient to the capitol, supreme court and library of congress. And close to union station for more distant destinations and bus tours. Moms loved having their own rooms. Boys took over the living room. House was clean and well stocked. Surprisingly quiet at night. The kitchen and baths were nice and well equipped, but small. The staircases were steep and the floors were creaky. If stairs are a problem, choose a hotel. If you love old houses like I do, you won't mind."
