"My teenage son and I stayed in this lovely apartment last week while we explored DC for his spring break.
The apartment was as described, wonderfully furnished and well taken care of. It was spacious and offered us each some privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed for casual meals (though I think there was enough to entertain a small dinner party!) and there were some household and food staples already in the cupboards.
Plenty of hangers, towels and linens were available for our use, and the stacked washer/dryer allowed us to pack lightly and come home with clean clothing! The shower was great!
I loved the proximity to the Dupont Circle metro, we traveled throughout the city without needing a car. Shopping was within walking distance and we felt quite safe even late at night.
We had a lot of sightseeing on our agenda so didn't spend much time with our host Ray, but he did offer a tour when we arrived. It was very nice to have the host upstairs just in case."

"My husband and son and I stayed in this lovely second floor apartment for a few days of being tourists in DC. The apartment is well-located in terms of the metro, grocery shopping, restaurants, and there was even a weekend farmer's market we took advantage of on Saturday. The apartment itself has 3 beds (2 queen, 1 single), with the single in a separate room attached to the bathroom (this is also the location of the closet for clothes. The setup is great for a family or for people accustomed to sharing living space, but might have less privacy than desired for other traveler groups. The kitchen is well-equipped with the things you need to do basic cooking, and the kitchen table seats 4 comfortably. The apartment has a variety of brochures, maps, and other books to help plan tourist activities, which was a nice feature. One could occasionally hear the comings and goings of other occupants of the building, or noise from the street, but nothing disruptive or problematic, especially for an urban location.
It was easy to make arrangements and getting into the apartment for an evening arrival was no problem. We were very grateful to the quick response from Mr. Chiazo when there was a problem with the air conditioning on a very hot muggy summer day. I would definitely stay in this apartment again next time I visit DC."

"This was a great place for our trip. All the directions were easy to get in and to park. Very close to metro and places to eat. VERY happy with our stay there. All dishes etc were in kitchen. Laundry room was free (normally condos have the quarter machines) and there was some detergent down there. Only negative was there were only 4 towels and two washcloths. If I were going to stay here again I would take an extra set of towels. Otherwise super happy."

"My husband and I brought 2 children with us. The directions were perfect and our hosts very accommodating and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed. The back patio was very beautiful. For us, the location was key. We were close enough to walk everywhere we needed to go. We would definitely recommend this apartment and we would definitely stay here again."
