  • Great Choice

"My husband, son and I stayed for 4 nights. Was a great choice, we were in first floor 1 BR unit with sofa bed for son it was very clean well decorated with delightful back porch to relax at the end of the day. Neighborhood was wonderful, many excellent restaurants and market nearby. Metro half a block away very convenient. Have stayed at many VRBO's around the country and would give this one a definite thumbs up."

  • Beautiful, comfortable, and convenient

"This well-maintained home comfortably housed 8 of us for 5 nights. We were able to walk to see the sights and to the metro station only .5 miles away. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Nice restaurants, taverns, and shopping nearby. Friendly and helpful property manager had everything prepared and explained all of the amenities. We would definitely stay there again!"

  • Ideal apartment and location

"My husband, two 12-year-olds, and I stayed for 4 nights touring Washington DC for my kids' first time. We highly recommend this apartment for the following reasons: Convenient location Very clean Well appointed Ease of working with the owners Plenty of luxury linens Comfortable bed We parked when we got there in front of the apartment and didn't drive again until we checked out. We walked 15 minutes to the Capitol and Smithsonian. Other times we took the Metro only 1.5 blocks away to go to the Zoo, White House, and other tourist places. We always felt safe walking around and always saw others walking, too. The Eastern Market was really neat. Multiple vendors selling fruit, veggies, meat, fish--just a block away. (The apple fritters from the bakery vendor were a breakfast treat every day!) Plenty of restaurants right around the corner for every taste (including Starbucks, Baskin Robbins, and Dunkin Donuts when you crave something familiar). Seeing the Capitol building every time we left the condo was such a treat for me. "It's right there!" I told my kids they have no idea how fortunate they are to stay close enough to tour DC so easily. We were very pleased, and we look forward to returning for more apple fritters."

  • Great Little Home on the Hill

"This was a wonderful experience. The apartment was so homelike and had a nice old feel with the architecture and wood throughout the place. There were 4 of us and no one was in each others' way. Parking was awesome, place was clean. Felt like part of the neighborhood when walking around or shopping. Was there Palm Sunday and enjoyed the music and dress up of the congregation at the Pilgrim Baptist Church. We did have one question about something and Jacqui came right over with an answer and was very gracious. (only concern was my severe allergy to room odorizor which we put outside and opened windows-but about 4 hours later no trace of the smell)."
