Can't wait to come back!
"My husband and I were visiting D.C. for a week to sightsee. We were a little nervous about a VRBO but decided to give it a try after reading all the reviews. We absolutely LOVED staying here! It was our own little private getaway. The apartment was adorable and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. We especially enjoyed having a kitchen to do some cooking in and a washer and dryer so we didn’t have to haul all our dirty clothes home. The one day that it rained there was even umbrellas for us to use. We were also a little nervous about whether the area would be safe since parts of D.C. have a bad reputation. We had no issues and felt safe the whole time we were there. There are 2 bus stops literally right at the corner (and we really didn’t hear any noise in the apartment from the busses) which run frequently and then there’s the Eastern Market metro just down the street which we took quite often. We had no difficulties getting around quickly. The couple times we did have questions the owner Scott was always ready to help us out and give suggestions. Scott was so friendly and told us everything we needed to know. I especially appreciated being able to have a (FREE) parking pass and having the metro smart cards provided so we could get around. We had a great time and have already recommended to friends and can’t wait to come back!"

"This property was absolutely amazing! The place was beautifully set up and the perfect location. Close to the metro, and easily accessible to everything we needed. We parked in front of the property and only used our car for a trip to Georgetown. Cannot say enough good things about our experience!! Great location.....beautiful, comfortable home and nice, quiet neighborhood!!."

"We came for the Cherry Blossom Festival. The apartment was close to the Metro. We walked to the Eastern Market. The apartment met our all our needs. The furnishings were complete. There was a grocery store about 4 blocks away that allowed us to grab all the other foods we wanted for snacks, breakfast, etc. Natalie and Colin were great help. I would recommend this apartment for anyone sightseeing. We would recommend anyone coming to visit the Library of Congress, the National Cathedral, and the National Gallery of Art (in addition to the memorials and other museums). The Cherry Blossoms were gorgeous. When we didn't want to walk very far we found Uber was a great way to get to Georgetown and Arlington."

"Great place that gives you the feel of living in DC Capital Hill area. Coming from the Southwest, this was unique to us and beat a hotel with five of us. We had plenty of room for the family and the property is well equipped, very clean, and modern decor. Wifi was strong, neighborhood was friendly, and we were close to the US Capital, Library of Congress, and US Supreme Court...all on our list of "must see" for this trip. Enjoyed being able to stroll down to see the 8 p.m. military band perform on the steps of the Capital while the sun set behind the Washington Monument. Really appreciated the parking permit dropped off promptly, and is a MUST if you are renting a car. The parking, however, is very limited and be prepared to look around for a bit for a space. Still, some easy drop off, pick up areas and always found spaces none beyond a block. Also, good thing my wife read the bit about moving the car on street sweeping day. Streets in DC were a bit difficult to navigate for us, and if you are heading down the National Mall or to the White House, I recommend public transport or the Capital Bike Share. Still, so many things to see along the way, that our family (wife/myself and two teens) walked the entire way with one quick on and off a bus... the advice to wear good walking shoes is no joke. If you plan on seeing the monuments on the west side, definitely take transport. 7-11 just nearby for quick stock up, but no gas. Be sure to arrange a Capital Tour with your State Senator's or Representative's office at least 3 weeks in advance to avoid the long lines and get a more personal tour. Bit of a moth ball smell when first entering the property, but noticed no bugs at all, so must be doing the job. Air conditioning was spot on and controls are very simple to use and respond quickly. Great to have three restrooms and all pristine."
