  • cozy, convenient, clean, affordable

"We stayed 3 nights so that we could have two full days of touring DC. This VRBO lived up to its description in every respect. If you're as old as I am (80), the stairs might put you off, but otherwise we were pleased and Elizabeth couldn't have been more charming and helpful."

  • Great DC Place for the Whole Family

"My whole family had a great time in your townhouse this past weekend. It was the perfect place for all of us to stay while celebrating my sister's wedding. The layout was perfect for all of the families with their children, and the big room was used as a meeting/regrouping/storytelling room, as well as dining room. The location was perfect, too, with Giant, restaurants, and the metro so close to it. The townhouse helped make for a memorable DC experience!"

  • Great Base for Your Family to Explore D.C.

"What a perfect home base for our family to explore Washington this spring! The Georgia-Petworth Metro Station was just 2 blocks away (it will take you no more than 15 minutes to travel down to all the attractions!) and the best part is that the apartment is DOWNHILL from the station, so at the end of a long day walking, it's easy to get back home! There's also a Safeway grocery store right around the corner. On our first night in town we stopped there and bought breakfast food and saved a pile eating in every morning, making eggs and biscuits and things in the little kitchen! The apartment was a great size for our family of four - our kids are 8 and 11. There's a nice room for mom and dad to sleep in, an alcove with a futon where the kids can sleep together or one can sleep there and the other on the pull out couch! In the evening, there was plenty of room for us all to stretch out and get some downtime after seeing the sights for hours. Two things to consider. 1) We are all average height folks, my husband is 5' 10, but I could see taller people being a little uncomfortable with the lower ceilings. 2) The parking space is tight! I have a Kia Sedona and it was a challenge parking it. Not complaining - I was thrilled to have a spot to keep it while we were in town - but if you have a big SUV it might not work for you! Rachel was a great host, the place was welcoming as soon as we walked in and her direction for finding the place as well as using the amenities inside were helpful and clear. Well, we tried to do it all on our little spring break but Washington is just so full of amazing things to do. Looks like we'll have to go back again and I would definitely stay in this place a second time!"

  • Very convenient for services and for getting around the city

"We enjoyed staying at this property. It is 2 blocks from the Metro, drug stores, restaurants, a grocery store and a Target store so it was very convenient for services and for getting around the city. The building is secure and well modernized. We would stay there again when we are in DC. We were in unit 22. It has an eat-in kitchen, large sunny room serving as a bedroom and living room, hall way closet and bath/shower."
