This charming, comfortable one-bedroom apartment is located in the vibrant Adams Morgan district.
"We planned to spend a few days in Washington DC after attending a family wedding in New York, and decided to stay in an apartment rather than an hotel. We found Suzanne Winter's charming one-bedroom apartment in the Adams Morgan district on the HomeAway website which was conveniently located for both buses and the Metro which we used to visit all the sites down-town and over in Georgetown. The apartment also had a parking spot which was useful for the rental car we hired to drive over the George Washington's home at Mount Vernon, Old Town Alexandria and to visit the historic town of Annapolis in Maryland."

"We stayed in this basement apartment for a week in October. It sits on a residential street in the Shaw district, a few blocks from the convention center and about a mile from the National Mall. The apartment itself has one bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and stacked washer and dryer (a great convenience), a full kitchen and a living room with a sofa. There is plenty of space; everything has a neat and clean appearance.
This apartment worked very well for my wife and me. We recommend it highly."

"This was a great apartment for our family of 6. We parked our car out in front and used to the metro to get us to all of the wonderful DC sites. We felt safe walking to and from the station. The neighborhood was quiet and those we encountered were friendly. We prepared morning and evening meals at the apartment and found the kitchen to be well stocked to meet our needs. The living space worked well for sharing meals and relaxing after a long day on our feet as well. A minor repair was needed while we were there and it was addressed immediately. It was a great experience."
