"My friend and I had a great stay in DC in this clean condo. There is easy access to public transit, though we tended to walk down 18th street every day to get back to the sites. Handy to have transit cards that were provided for easy reload, nice pool, close to Safeway and drug store, extra sheets if you want to make up a couch instead of sharing the bed and sometimes cookies in the lobby… Deborah is very quick to respond to all questions or comments and eager to make your stay comfortable. As advertised and much better than staying at a hotel!"

  • Fantastic house in great location

"We spent a great few days at this beautiful house with our 2 teenage children. There is so much space - even an outdoor area and a private parking spot - and the house is very well equipped. The location is great too - metro and the U street corridor just round the corner. We found some great local restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend and stay here again."

  • Group of 10 (6 kids, 4 adults)

"We were a bit turned off when we first arrived. Back entrance is a dirty trash can strewn alley, so we went back around and parked on the street (and ignored the back for the rest of our stay). The front street is well maintained and clean throughout the neighborhood. Once inside we realized that the pictures make the house look newer than it is. There is a large poorly patched area on the living room ceiling, there are several stains on that same ceiling and the carpet to the lower level is very stained. All things we could live with but a turn off as you first walk around. The house was very clean and we had the privilege of meeting the cleaning women who was just finishing up when we arrived. She was very friendly and actually took time to go out of her way and let us follow her to a nearby grocery store. The property manager was also very nice to deal with and when we called to ask him to put in the air conditioners (It was the first really warm weekend of the year), he called us back very quickly and showed up early the next morning to take care of it. We also called him with a question about the internet and he was again quick to respond and he did quickly get us the information we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and pillows. Showers were very good (clean), with all the hot water we needed and there were plenty of towels even for 10 of us. Living room/kitchen area is bright, sunny and cheerful in the morning which was a great way to start each day. Neighborhood was very quiet, neighbors were friendly and I felt comfortable enough to take a few early evening strolls on my own. We had a 15 passenger rental van and had no problem parking on the street. The ride back into DC proper was quick and easy. Overall we would recommend this property without reservation."

  • Great stay in Georgetotwn Townhouse

"We, a family of 4, finished our Virginia/Washington DC tour in Georgetown, staying in this great townhouse for 5 nights. Everything was perfect, key easy to find, and house as we had hoped, a real historic townhouse in historic area. Beds etc comfortable and all needs of our group well catered for. House is a 5 minute walk to downtown main street in Georgetown with great dining and shopping. Great base also for running in Creek Park and for touring DC itself (recommend Big Bus Tours). We would be happy to recommend this property for a family."
