  • Awesome location and Classy home!

"We wanted to find a house-type rental for our stay, but had to quickly make arrangements when we decided to arrive to DC three days earlier than originally planned. We feel very fortunate this home was available for that short window of time on such short notice! The house was very comfortable and eloquently decorated. Although we did not cook a meal, we used the kitchen for breakfasts and found it well stocked. When we asked about a blender for our protein shakes, our hosts provided a brand new one within hours! That's service! Our nephew used the sofa bed in the loft and said he was comfortable. Check-in was easy. The location close to Union Station was great; although, we ended up walking to most of our destinations! We would definitely hope to book this home again when we get back to DC!"

  • Great Base for Your Family to Explore D.C.

"What a perfect home base for our family to explore Washington this spring! The Georgia-Petworth Metro Station was just 2 blocks away (it will take you no more than 15 minutes to travel down to all the attractions!) and the best part is that the apartment is DOWNHILL from the station, so at the end of a long day walking, it's easy to get back home! There's also a Safeway grocery store right around the corner. On our first night in town we stopped there and bought breakfast food and saved a pile eating in every morning, making eggs and biscuits and things in the little kitchen! The apartment was a great size for our family of four - our kids are 8 and 11. There's a nice room for mom and dad to sleep in, an alcove with a futon where the kids can sleep together or one can sleep there and the other on the pull out couch! In the evening, there was plenty of room for us all to stretch out and get some downtime after seeing the sights for hours. Two things to consider. 1) We are all average height folks, my husband is 5' 10, but I could see taller people being a little uncomfortable with the lower ceilings. 2) The parking space is tight! I have a Kia Sedona and it was a challenge parking it. Not complaining - I was thrilled to have a spot to keep it while we were in town - but if you have a big SUV it might not work for you! Rachel was a great host, the place was welcoming as soon as we walked in and her direction for finding the place as well as using the amenities inside were helpful and clear. Well, we tried to do it all on our little spring break but Washington is just so full of amazing things to do. Looks like we'll have to go back again and I would definitely stay in this place a second time!"

  • Convenient and Comfortable

"We used this for our school trip, housing 4 students (ages 9 and 10) and their parents. The house had loads of space to accommodate everyone comfortably. it was great having a park, Metro, Bikeshare and neighborhood shopping close by. Lauren, the owner's daughter, was helpful and could be counted on to help navigate the city. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Great Place to Stay in the Heart of DC!

"Great location! We were close to everything we wanted to see for being our first time in DC. 5 minute walk to the U street metro(Yellow and Green lines) which got us to the National Mall, Smithsonian museums, Segway tours, and anywhere we wanted to go in DC. Comfortable & clean Condo! Also safe neighborhood. We had everything we needed in the condo and cooked breakfast and dinner a few times. Also around the corner is a Trader Joe's and plenty of places to eat around Dupont Circle (we loved DC Noodles which was on 14th street). Eva answered all our questions prior to our stay and during our stay. We needed to park our car in a garage nearby all week and she helped us with the best places to park. We ended up using spothero.com to park our car in garage all week and that was perfect. We would stay here again if we come back to DC!"
