"This is terrific place to stay for a great visit in DC, and you’ll feel right at home. We spent two months there and it was a great home away from home. It’s very nicely furnished without any feel of sparseness that you get in some furnished apartments – very at-home feeling. It’s impeccably clean and we were greeted with a cheese/chocolate basket and bus/Metro passes (though if you’re over 65, go with your ID to get your own senior card which halves the cost of each ride). The apartment is compact but very well organized, and you have a storage space in one closet and your own washer and dryer in another closet, each of which are off the hall and take away none of the living space. When you look at the pictures, you might wonder where you’d eat, but the table, which can seat six, simply has leaves which aren’t apparent – and with only one leaf out, it sits four. Great planning. It’s wonderfully convenient, with lots on U Street, and the Green/Yellow line U street stop is two blocks away. A very convenient grocery is less than a block away and an organic grocery 2 ½ blocks away. The owners are very nice and helpful – they live upstairs and are very helpful, but also unobtrusive. Plan on this apartment for a great stay!!"Guest: Chris Date of Stay: July 2013 Review Submitted: September 16, 2013View listing
"Very nice apartment. Great neighborhood. Slept 5 easily. Owner got us a parking permit and provided metro cards (worth $25). A big part of why our trip to Washington was so great."Guest: Gregory S. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 16, 2014View listing
"It is quite obvious the moment you pull up to this adorable, well maintained home that the owner takes great pride is his accommodations. Yes the home is spotless, comfortable in size, and contains all the accoutrement one would need while away from home. All of this is easily seen within the photos. What you can’t see in this listing is the professionalism and hospitality of the owner. Sebastian excels as a host, going above and beyond any expectations I ever had for a VRBO property owner. I reached out to Sebastian a day before my arrival, and was fortunate for his last minute availability. I was greeted with a bottle of wine, Sebastiani no less (the attention to detail was not lost on me). His genuine care for guests shines through his infectious, positive demeanor. I will be back. Note: While it is almost certainly never used due to the gorgeous, oversized dining room table just feet away, be sure to take note of the one-of-a-kind kitchen table. There are many eclectic details within the home that will keep you on your toes."Guest: AKA19130 Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 22, 2014View listing
"My friend and I stayed at Eddie's apartment in the heart of Chinatown. We were able to take the metro from DCA airport and find the apt. just a short distance away from the Metro stop near the Chinatown arch. The apt has a comfy queen size bed in it's 1 bedroom and also a sink in the bedroom. The 3/4 bath has a nicely tiled shower , floor and sink of course. Eddie has done some remodeling recently as the paint was fresh and there are plenty of electrical outlets for your devices to charge. There are 2 double futons that serve as sofas, they may be a good bed when opened up but I didn't try. There is a dining table and chairs a kitchen area with a sink , fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There is a liquor store across the street or on the corner and well as a small market for light groceries. I ate meals at the Pho place across the street and the Chinese restaurant downstairs and to the left of Eddies apartment stairs. The location is awesome. So close to the Metro, the bus is also right outside the door and my daughter and I walked over to the Tidal basin to check out the amazing cherry blossoms. The apt was clean and basic but had coffee for the coffee maker, a hairdryer, an ironing board and iron, a tv, a boom box and extra towels . It was real city living and my friend and I had a great trip using the apartment as home base. I appreciate that Eddie offers his apartment at a very reasonable rate. If you are looking for practical, great locale and clean , this is it. If your looking for fancy, keep looking."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 30, 2014View listing
