  • Great Location

"We are just finishing out two month stay here. Great location. Near 3 Metro lines and lots of bus lines. Easy walk to many things. Near lots of great restaurants. We loved Floriana's. Nearby Safeway. Very comfortable and safe. Enough room to have to grandchildren come and spend the weekend. Annamaria was very helpful and responsive. Washer/dryer downstairs was a big plus. No need for car at all. I would recommend to anyone and will be back."

  • Not fancy but certainly met our needs

"Our family of 4 stayed for 5 days. It was a bit crowded for 4 people, but our needs were met. The wired internet worked well, but wireless connections were unpredictable. The printer for the computer came in handy when we needed it. The small kitchen was also very useful for cooking our own meals. We had a very short walk to the Metro (subway) that we used for all transportation. If you plan to use the Metro, it is best to get the plastic card and refill it as needed. For $1.75 per person, we could travel from the apartment to all our places of interest in the DC area. That is a great deal considering that parking in DC is around $35/day. The Metro was very fast and efficient, and we loved it. We parked in the garage under the building and did not use our car all week. The apartment could use some updates. There was a broken towel bar in the bathroom, and the air conditioner seemed to struggle to keep the room cool. It ran constantly, but the room was never cold. However, it was comfortable enough for us when we also used the fan. The outside temperature was about 90 degrees all week. The building was very secure and felt safe. Building residents and other people in DC were friendly. The grocery store was also very close. The Holocaust Museum and the Newseum were nice places to visit, and the bus tour was enjoyable. Besides the Newseum and the bus tour, everything else we did for the week was free. There was so much to do that we could have stayed an extra week without repeating any activities. If we return to DC, I would stay here again. The location and security were both great."

  • Glover Park Gem

"My husband and I and our two children rented this house, fully furnished, for ten months and loved every minute of it. The house is beautifully furnished and well laid out. The neighborhood is wonderful, with easy access to Rock Creek park for jogging trails, Whole Foods for shopping, and a range of good restaurants. It is centrally located for bus routes. And the rental rate is a steal for that location. We recommend it highly."
