  • Great for families!

"This is our 3rd rental through VRBO and by far my favorite! We stayed here for our family trip to Disney and we loved it! Shelley is very easy to work with and has included a lot of "extras." We were so happy to use the stroller and cooler, and save packing space in the car. Our kids absolutely loved their rooms, while the parents enjoyed having more than just a 2-bed hotel room! The pool was great for down-time out of the parks. We decided to stay off-property to "get away" from the madness. This was a great deal--roughly the same price to have a kitchen, laundry, our own pool, and rooms for the kids. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Easy drive to the parks and Seaworld, plenty of souvenir shopping and restaurants around. Also has easy access to Target, Walmart, grocery shopping. Thanks Shelley for a great time and making our stay so pleasant!"

  • Great deal!

"I stayed at the condo in early August with my father and 2 children and we LOVED it. Windsor Hills is a gated resort with so many great amenities (the pool with the water slide was a big hit with my 7 year old) and it is only 2 miles from all of the Disney parks. The condo itself was super clean and spacious. We had everything we needed to cook most of our meals at the condo, which saved us a lot of money :) There are TV's with DVD players in all of the bedrooms and in the living room, as well as a Playstation with games in the kids room. The unit is very close to the pool and clubhouse and we just felt really comfortable the whole week. Kristen does an amazing job of communicating everything you need to know before checking in, which saved us a lot of time when we checked in. Book it - you won't be disappointed!"

  • Wedding Weekend

"Just have to say the weekend went beautifully and your vacation home was a perfect setting up for our needs for our daughter's wedding in Apopka. Even though it was 45 minutes from the venue and we had to scramble to find another house after our original deal was cancelled, we are so grateful for your kind assistance at such short notice! There was room for everyone to sleep in comfortable beds and plenty of bathroom space to get ready. On Saturday, we hosted a casual barbeque for family and friends in town and everyone just raved about the house and how perfect it was for such an event. Our guests from up north spent the entire afternoon on the lanai....they hated to leave (they are heading home to snow on the ground). The kitchen was so well stocked I hardly had to use any of the bowls and platters I brought with me to serve the food. And we had a few little ones who enjoyed the pool and pool toys! Early Sunday morning, we took a few minutes to relax in the Mickey hot tub before packing up. Since I just celebrated my 10 years of service with Disney, there was no way I was leaving without having my picture taken in the hot tub! If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to have a gas grill....we had 2 friends bring them and set them up just outside the lanai. And maybe better internet/phone reception! Thanks again for allowing us to rent your home for our daughter's wedding weekend!"

  • My Family's First Disney Vacation

"The condo was just right for my family of five and I'm glad I found it. We enjoyed staying there very much, despite a couple issues. The condo was so much nicer than hotel rooms or a suite (which likely would have been too small, anyway). The kids enjoyed playing with the foosball and pool tables. The wi-fi worked flawlessly. The condo was VERY clean and well stocked with towels. The beds were comfortable for the kids. No complaints from me. There were a couple of downsides, if I'm being honest. Our stay at the condo was marred by the fridge and freezer, which ruined over $100.00 in food. I don't know whether there was a problem with the unit, or it's turned off between visitors. Whatever the case may be, it took two days for it to cool down and actually freeze anything. Management (David?) was called, no other complaints had been made prior to our arrival and, to the extent I'm aware, nothing was done. There may not have been anything wrong with the unit. Management should anticipate renters using the freezer/'fridge and leave it on. I was pretty upset about the waste of food and money because of this. The other thing I'd like to bring up is the matter of checking-in at the resort. Is it mandatory, or optional? The property description wasn't clear but, if I'm being honest, it's a question I should have asked before our arrival. Once you check in, you're locked into paying the resort fee for each day you're renting the condo. Paying the full resort fee was not an option, nor was it something you could pay just for a single day you accessed the "resort". Your kids will enjoy the pools, water slides and lazy river (all of which were clean). However, if it had been up to me, I would have skipped it in favor of the nice, quiet clubhouse pool near the condo. The property is very conveniently located. Grocery stores are nearby as well as restaurants and shopping (everything's on state route 192, to the north). It's a very short drive to Disneyworld and not that far to Universal Studios. Kennedy Space Center is an hour away (bring change for the tollways!). Overall we really enjoyed the condo and would gladly rent it again for another vacation. I don't hesitate to recommend this property to friends. On balance, we had a very good experience!!!"
