  • Excellent Clean Quiet Condo

"This Legacy Dunes condo is a real find in the "Disney" area. It is as advertised, very clean, well furnished, and in a very quiet gated community. Nice screened porch overlooks a well manicured and landscaped pond. Everything works and is in new or close to it condition. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen has everything, and washer/dryer in the unit was a very nice extra. The swimming pool area looked very clean and well maintained. The owners of this unit could easily charge more, and so their lack of interest in "gouging" their guests is especially appreciated in this locale. By the way, taking the "shortcut" to Disney (Sherberth Street) will save you at least 20 minutes travel time each way! We would definitely stay in this unit again."

  • Outstanding

"This was the perfect property for a two-family vacation (4 adults, 5 kids). Fully furnished and lots of fun. Everyone had their own space, but there were several places for everyone to get together (TV room, game room, pool area, dining room). We had a real nice dinner in the screened-in pool area one night - there are tables and chairs to seat 8 people outside; we seated in a ninth person on a reclining chair. The pool lighting set a nice mood, along with some island backround music (I brought a small set of speakers which I connected to Pandora on my cell phone). There are several new things that were not in the description. The clubhouse has a new exercise room (new equipment and a new room) that was well used by the adults in our group. The clubhouse also has a new mini-golf course (which we didn't have time to use). In general, the clubhouse personnel are very nice and very helpful. They hosted several events associated with World Cup soccer on their large TV that included free beverages (wine/beer/soda) and snacks. There is also a very nice Irish pub, immediately outside the High Grove gates, easily within walking distance. It looks new as well. Fun. A 15 minute drive to WDW (without traffic). Traffic in the morning to WDW wasn't too bad. If you return from the parks around closing time, route 192 can get jammed...I suggest taking the Osceola Pkwy/Sherberth Road/BlackLake Road "shortcut" to avoid a lot of the 192 evening traffic. When I first booked the property, I had read a review on another website that there was a nearby water-treatment facility and a strip club near the entrance of High Grove. This raised some concerns. However, after staying here for 10 nights, I didn't notice the treatment facility at all, and the strip club (1/2 mile away) must be going out of business. Clean, well-maintained and the owner was responsive. As with any large property, something is going to our case the clothes dryer stopped working. The owner and the management company had the dryer replaced within a day. Outstanding. If I have to find something wrong, I guess all I can think of is that the upstairs hallway carpet is showing signs of wear, but it was clean - and this did not distract from our vacation one little bit. This property is on a corner lot (only two neighbors, unlike most others that have three) on a very quiet street. Unlike other properties, this one has a little bit of yard. Consider this property as HIGHLY recommended."

  • Are stay in Lindfield

"We stayed in the house in July-Aug 14 and found the House excellent it had everything we could need ,Our Kids played in the pool when every we were not visiting the attractions which were all very close and took 10mins to get there the house was very clean and tidy and set up very well to make sure that you could relax as a family or find a area just to chill out by yourself I would defiantly stay in this accommodation again and would recommend to anybody that enquires about places to stay. I found the owners were easy too contact and they responded and answered all my questions this was the first time myself and my family have rented a private property and as I said would defiantly stay there again ."

Legacy Dunes Travel Tips

Legacy Dunes Condo Rentals in Beautiful Kissimmee

Kissimmee is no stranger to tourists, so the hotels are usually jam packed with visitors. This can mean frustration for anyone seeking a more secluded getaway. When looking for a more intimate approach, these Legacy Dunes vacation homes are a great choice. They combine the luxury of countless amenities such as top quality electronics, beautiful interior decor, high end appliances, and spacious rooms, with an increased sense of privacy. These Legacy Dunes condo rentals are all set in an ideal location for your vacation and come in at well below the cost of comparable luxury hotels.

The History of Kissimmee

In the early days of Florida, many of the development efforts in the area were little more than attempts to drain out acres upon acres of swampland. In order to do this, the rivers had to be used to transport goods via steamboat. Kissimmee first earned its place of recognition by making the majority of the ships used for this purpose. Soon, due to the expansion of railroads, the residents of Kissimmee went from shipbuilders to ranchers. This remained the core of their culture until the 1970s, when Disney attractions opened in the area. From that point forward, Kissimmee became a tourist hub. These Legacy Dunes condo rentals now combine a fantastic location with a variety of its own attractions.

Explore the World of Disney'

With these Legacy Dunes vacation homes, you're just minutes from all of Disney's magic. Disney World is just one part of Disney's local attractions. Other locations include the Epcot Center, where you can visit Future World and the World Exhibit; Hollywood Studios, where you can see some of your favorite kid's shows filmed; The Magic Kingdom, where you can join the Buccaneer League or travel across Frontierland; and The Animal Kingdom, where you can see fearsome creatures from across the globe from your Kissimmee vacation rentals.
