  • Perfect Holiday 😎

"We have recently returned home after an excellent holiday. Having stayed at Windsor Palms before we knew it was the perfect location. However, we were slightly concerned as we had never rented this accommodation before. We need not have worried. It was perfect. A real home from home experience! We would definitely recommend to family and friends. The owner was both very friendly and professional. The property agents were excellent too. Go on book today! You won't be disappointed!"

  • Wonderful Home for Thanksgiving Stay

"We have just returned from our Thanksgiving week stay. The home was flawless. Absolutely as pictured and we loved every minute of it. The rental company is super easy to deal with and local so any issues can be addressed immediately. It took us about 15 minutes to get to Disney and about 25 minutes to get all the way to Universal. It was a nice location. It was located in a lovely community with lots of room to walk our dog in comfort. The only downside for us was that it was quite cool (50's and 60's) most of the week. Unfortuntately the pool heating system is absolutely unable to keep up with anything under 70 in my experience. We were able to use the hot tub one day (and it was warm but not hot), and we were never able to use the pool. I would not have paid to heat the pool if I had known the system couldn't keep up."

  • Lovely House with Responsive Owners - Highly Recommend

"Our family of ten (six adults and four children) stayed at this home from December 18-22. It was the perfect location to enjoy relaxing evenings after days spent at the Disney parks. It is an easy 20 minute commute to the parks. The house was immaculate and the owners were very responsive to any questions we had. The children enjoyed the ping pong table and the weather was great! We highly recommend this home if you are in the Clermont/Disney area!"

  • Great home for families!

"We loved this home! It had everything we needed for two adults and our three kids -- ages 20, 14 and 12. The kids loved the pool at the house, and we also loved the Seven Eagles pool and the water park. Everything in Reunion is so clean and beautifully appointed. The house is also so well appointed with beautiful furniture and everything we needed. The towels were plentiful and soft and large, and the bed linens were so comfy and nice. We even had a basket of beach towels to use by the pool. Thank you David and Lisa, and we hope we can return again soon!"

The Villages Travel Tips

The retirement community of The Villages is located in sunny, central Florida. It is 20 miles south of Ocala and 57 miles northwest of Orlando in Lake, Sumter and Marion counties. This development is home to more than 51,000 people and the fastest-growing micropolitan area in the U.S. as well as the fastest-growing small town.

The Villages' history dates back to the 1960s when Harold Schwartz, a Michigan businessman, sold land to retirees looking to escape to a warmer climate. Today, the descendants of Harold Schwartz and his son H. Gary Morse still control The Villages.

The Villages Attractions

The master-planned retirement community offers several forms of recreational activity. The Villages has numerous golf courses and offers "Free Golf for Life." Thirty-two of the courses are 9-hole layouts while the remaining 10 are country club championship courses. Two additional courses will be 27-hole layouts with a total of 621 holes of golf by the end of a final course build?-out.

Visit the Florida Carriage Museum and Resort and take a step back in time. This museum is home to the largest collection of antique horse-drawn carriages in the U.S. and is one of the largest in the world. There are more than 160 carriages from Europe and America, including the 1850 Ambruster Dress Chariot that once carried Emperor of Austria Franz Joseph and his wife, Elisabeth.

You can do plenty of shopping without leaving The Villages. There are boutiques scattered throughout the town squares, including many of the country's most popular brands. There are also grocery stores, pharmacies and superstores that will help you find everything you need. You can even venture throughout The Villages on your golf cart, the most fun way to travel through a small town.
