  • Wonderful home

"We stayed here for a week in July. The owner was very responsive during the booking process and the management company was responsive to our inquiry to have heat turned on for the hot tub. The house is well kept and all linens provided. I thought we would be at the neighborhood pool a lot but it turns out we spent every night in the pool at the house, it was wonderful! What made this house special was its on a cul de sac so you cannot see the neighbors when you are in the pool, very private. All the other homes in this neighborhood seem right on top of each other. Excellent location and all necessities, would live to return again!"

  • Perfect Location

"This is a beautiful rental in an ideal location close to Disney. It was a 10-15 minute drive, depending on which park we visited. We enjoyed both the private pool and the resort pools (with bath-like warm water) on our days off from the parks. Loved the full kitchen, the four bedrooms, and the three full baths to spread out in. Accommodations are stocked with single-use products like dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper. Towels and linens were provided. The only thing we were missing were dishcloths and dishtowels. An amazing price at a superb location with excellent service! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be returning in the future!"

  • Quality Villa

"This is a really excellent Villa, with everything you will ever need for your stay. It was spotlessly clean throughout and the layout of the place, with 3 of the bedrooms being upstairs made the place feel so spacious. The pool is a god send especially after a hard day of riding those rollercoasters!!. Angelina and Terry were really helpful and always available for questions which made the whole booking process totally stress free. I will definately be returning to this villa next year, and I have already passed the details on to my family and friends."

"We had a wonderful week at Windsor Hills! The condo was beautiful and extremely clean - it's probably the nicest condo we've ever stayed in anywhere! The facilities were nice and conveniently located to the condo. I would highly recommend and if we come back to Orlando area we would love to stay here again!"

The Villages Travel Tips

The retirement community of The Villages is located in sunny, central Florida. It is 20 miles south of Ocala and 57 miles northwest of Orlando in Lake, Sumter and Marion counties. This development is home to more than 51,000 people and the fastest-growing micropolitan area in the U.S. as well as the fastest-growing small town.

The Villages' history dates back to the 1960s when Harold Schwartz, a Michigan businessman, sold land to retirees looking to escape to a warmer climate. Today, the descendants of Harold Schwartz and his son H. Gary Morse still control The Villages.

The Villages Attractions

The master-planned retirement community offers several forms of recreational activity. The Villages has numerous golf courses and offers "Free Golf for Life." Thirty-two of the courses are 9-hole layouts while the remaining 10 are country club championship courses. Two additional courses will be 27-hole layouts with a total of 621 holes of golf by the end of a final course build?-out.

Visit the Florida Carriage Museum and Resort and take a step back in time. This museum is home to the largest collection of antique horse-drawn carriages in the U.S. and is one of the largest in the world. There are more than 160 carriages from Europe and America, including the 1850 Ambruster Dress Chariot that once carried Emperor of Austria Franz Joseph and his wife, Elisabeth.

You can do plenty of shopping without leaving The Villages. There are boutiques scattered throughout the town squares, including many of the country's most popular brands. There are also grocery stores, pharmacies and superstores that will help you find everything you need. You can even venture throughout The Villages on your golf cart, the most fun way to travel through a small town.
