"This was our first trip to Disney World and my first experience renting a home. I have to say I was worried at first but Amish is very easy to work with and answered all of my questions. I am so glad we decided to rent a house instead of staying on Disney property. It is a short 15 minute drive to the parks and is was nice to be able to come home, relax and let our three kids (8 y/o, 6 y/o, and 4 y/o) play in the pool and the 5 adults enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. I recommend this property to anyone. There is a lot of room and there is a Publix grocery store near by. I would definitely rent this property again. Thank you Amish!"

  • Wonderful, peaceful, quiet

"If you're looking for privacy, and still want to be near everything, this is the place for you! It was an easy walk to Winter Garden Village, a shopping area with 15 or so restaurants, and lots of shops! It was a 20-25 minute to Downtown Disney, and 30 minutes to Orlando. Also, less than an hour drive to Lakeland, to watch the Detroit Tigers in their spring training games. The house is set way back off the road, so it seems like you're not in a neighborhood, but some secluded area. Walking the neighborhood was easy to do, and everyone was very friendly and waved or said hi. Even the teenagers! It is a great area. We've rented in several Florida locations over the years, including Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, and Marco Island. This was the best area for stuff to do, and had the lowest price for golfing. There were plenty of golf courses in the area to pick from. We also loved the fact that there was a screen door off the sliding Master Bedroom sliding doors. We like the A/C off whenever possible, and we could leave the glass doors open at night and get a nice breeze in the bedroom. The covered patio area was great and a good size. We could sit out in the rain playing cards or games and stay dry. The kitchen appliances are in need of upgrading. It took forever to pre-heat the oven. However, we only cooked a few times in 6 weeks so it didn't matter much for us. There were too many great restaurants to pick from. Mimi's was our favorite and we ate there 1-2 times a week. Downtown Winter Garden was about a 15 minute drive away. It's a great town to walk around in with more great places for eating, indoors and out. We loved Urban Flats and went there several times, too. I would highly recommend this house. You can't go wrong! Dave was wonderful to deal with and is a super nice guy. He always made sure everything was ok, and would check in with us to make sure."

  • Great House!

"Everything was there for cooking. We stayed for a week while attending our nieces wedding. The house was clean and had plenty of towels. The grill was handy and there was a very peaceful large backyard. The bedroom with the bunk beds would be more comfortable for smaller sized people. If you have any down time it would be handy to have games to play or even a deck of cards. Although there were TV's in all the rooms!!"

  • Making Disney Affordable!!

"This was such a great place to stay for our "whole family" Disney Vacation. There were 13 people in our group and we had room to spare!! Very affordable alternative to staying in the park! Our daughters and grandchildren loved fishing in the lake behind the house! Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone!"
