"WHAT A FIND! We travel to Disney each year and have sampled every type of accommodation. 339 Robin Drive was very clean, excellent location, and spacious. My husband and I traveled with two small children and a senior citizen. Everyone was comfortable and most importantly safe. The pool wasn't working the first first day, something to do with being between pool companies, but it was resolved and we were swimming by day 3. :) Liz and Dave (Property managers) couldn't have been any sweeter, YOU HAVE TO MEET WITH THEM AND THERE IS A $300.00 security deposit that is collected at that meeting. They were always onsite and pleasant to chat with. Only negative we can mention were there were several people knocking on the door (a man selling meat, someone wanting to discuss tickets, and the maid asking when we would be leaving.) None of the guest knockers came with marked shirts or badges or even labeled cars, to say the least that made us uncomfortable. Back to the house: plenty of kitchen supplies, linens, and bath towels. You will want to grab a few pool toys but there is a Publix within 5 minutes, if you forget. There are three doors with alarms to the pool area (which are loud) so if you have little kids there is no escaping. Excellent home and we will be returning."

  • Disney family of 3 Florida residents

"We have been staying here for the past few years. We love the house. It truly is like our 2nd home. The rooms are real nice. Master bedroom is huge, the Mickey room is great for the kids. Our daughter 13years old has always said that she loves that room. The rest of the home is very clean. the kitchen is just like being at home. All you need is some food. The Winn Dixie it is about maybe 5 mins. away Lots of places to go. It is in the best location for going to the parks or shopping. It takes about 5 mins. to get Animal Kingdom! It is not far from all the other parks, mini golf, golf all kinds of things to see or do. There is Something for everyone. Do not feel like going anywhere the house is great to relax enjoy the pool. The pool is perfect! We always use the pool. Well taken care of. We are Florida passholders. We used to stay in Disney and yes its great but, from the first time we stayed here we love it so much we try to go 5 times a year. And will only stay here. It's your home away from home. It is the perfect place to go stay on your trip. Also, the owners of the home are very nice & kind and easy to deal with. We eat breakfast at the house then go to the parks. If it is too hot or you just what to stay in. You still will enjoy this house. There is something to do all the time so many places to go. There is something for everyone no matter age. There is a binder to welcome the guests with lots off info to help plan your trip. It is a quite neighborhood very clean. Just having privacy is wonderful. I think ever one will have privacy would love it instead of the Hotels. We all know how loud others can be. You have the pool just for your family no people there to make it hard to find a spot and some families get real loud and can be hard to find a spot you need for your family. That has always made us feel uncomfortable. We always feel like we are home. Make sure you make your plans early the house rents out a lot. The price is unreal for what you are getting! The park hotels are much more and you don't have privacy and the house is made a home. The owners of the home really made the Disney house (has we call it) a home with all you need! We love it there so much we have a blast. We were just there in October For the MNSSH party at Magic Kingdom. Can't wait to go up again soon we hope. I know this is long but we just can't express enough how much we love it there and we will always stay here."

  • Great Location, Clean, Close to pool and clubhouse!

"Our stay at Regal Palms and this unit was very comfortable and enjoyable. I will recommend to friends. We spent our week at Disney parks, and it was great to be able to come home to a place unlike a hotel room with 2 beds in one room. We traveled home with clean laundry which was a huge load off our minds. Other than some road construction delays, our only complaint is that Regal Palms does not have a recycle program. Everything goes in the garbage."

  • The perfect vacation home!

"We were traveling with our 3 young children and found this home to be absolutely perfect in every way. The home was VERY clean and well stocked with everything we didn't travel with. The layout was very ideal for our family, the bedrooms were tucked away from the living space so the kids could nap or sleep while adults would visit. The house was spacious and well cared for. The pool was wonderful clean and a good size. There was a cooler and beach chairs which were perfect for the days we went to the ocean. The house really provided the perfect vacation. It was very peaceful and relaxing and the neighborhood is quiet clean and well kept. The owners were more than helpful with providing activities from the area and very pleasant to deal with. We would love to stay here again!"

Central/Disney/Orlando Area Travel Tips

Orlando is an idyllic vacation spot for both kids and those who are young at heart. As the mecca for all things Disney, there's a sense of magic here that is sure to bring out your inner child as you play and explore the city.

While images of theme parks galore may the the first thing that comes to mind, there's much more to this Florida city. While they are a big part of making Orlando a destination hotspot, there are also lovely tree-line neighborhoods to stroll through and plenty of history to learn about. Orlando also boasts a thriving performing arts scene so be sure to check out a live musical or theatrical performance during your stay. If the weather is nice, the city provides a variety of gardens and parks to enjoy where you can marvel at the beautiful flora and fauna as you dine on a picnic.

Many visitors head to Orlando between June and August, but it's great to visit year-round. If you live someplace that experiences all four seasons, trade in the dreary, cold days for ones filled with warmth and sunshine. It's lovely in the spring as well, when the flowers are in full bloom and the temperatures aren't climbing too high.

Orlando's Best Theme Parks

- Disney World: Orlando has become synonymous with Disney World - "the happiest place on earth." This is Walt Disney's flagship center of his worldwide theme park empire and the most popular on the globe. It's a magical place that all people no matter their age can enjoy as they experience the wonder, fantasy, excitement and fun of the park. Disney World itself is home to a variety of theme and water parks as well as shopping, entertainment, dining and more.

- Epcot: Travel all around the world without ever leaving Orlando at the Epcot Center. The World Showcase is reminiscent of a permanent world's fair containing 11 different countries including Mexico, China, Norway, Germany, Japan, Italy, America, Morocco, France, Canada and the United Kingdom. Epcot was the second park built at Disney World and spans 300 acres. Experience all sorts of unique cultures and heritages as you explore the park.

- Discovery Cove: If you've ever wanted to swim with dolphins, head to Discovery Cove, where you get the chance to interact with bottlenose dolphins swimming, doing tricks and playing. Afterward, grab some snorkeling equipment and check out the coral reef where you can see thousands of colorful tropical fish, then check out the stingrays and shark tank. The park also features a free-flight aviary with more than 250 tropical birds flying overhead that you can feed and interact with, such as parrots and toucans. The Grand Reef features a sandy white beach with palms lining an island where you'll find underwater grottos filled with moray eels, reef sharks and more tropical fish. Check out the Sea Venture, an underwater walk on the sea floor.

Things to Do in Orlando

- World of Orchids: If you have a green thumb or simply appreciate the beauty of nature, plan a trip to the World of Orchids. In an enclosed tropical rainforest you can see thousands of stunning blooms covering almost an acre. You'll feel as though you've been transported to the Amazon in this natural jungle-like setting featuring streams, waterfalls and even parrots. World of Orchids also boasts a 1,000 foot boardwalk by nearby wetlands.

- Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art: Art lovers and Tiffany enthusiasts will appreciate the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. It's home to the largest collection from Louis Comfort Tiffany, including art glass, lamps, leaded-glass windows, pottery, jewelry, paintings and the chapel interior from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The museum also boasts a huge collection of American art, pottery and representative collections of late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century American graphics, decorative arts and paintings.

- The Orlando Museum of Art: Keeping with the art theme, make your way to the Orlando Museum of Art to see ongoing exhibitions and displays of American landscapes and portraits, ancient American works and American impressionist pieces. Throughout the year the museum presents 10 to 12 exhibitions and provides a variety of enrichment programs, gallery tours, lectures, classes and more.

- Mad Cow Theatre: Plan a fun night out at the Mad Cow Theatre, one of Orlando's professional theater companies presenting a variety of works for the stage, including contemporary plays and musicals. Performances like Sunday in the Park with George, Death of a Salesman, Hedda Gabler, Next to Normal, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Our Town, Cinderella and many more have graced the stage here. Enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant then head to the Mad Cow Theatre for a delightful evening filled with live entertainment.
