  • Highly recommended

"I just wanted to send some feedback on Sea Pearl Circle. We had a fabulous time at the house. Everything was spotless and in great condition. The house was very spacious and comfortable. The pool was perfect. The location is second to none, just minutes from Disney and easy to get to the local shops and facilities. I cannot recommend this house highly enough."

  • Fantastic home!!!

"What a great home!!! My husband and two daughters (9 &14) just spent our Spring Break week here. The home was clean and exactly as described. All of the dishes, flatware and glasses matched. There is a nice set for indoor use and a plastic set of dinner and glassware for outdoor patio use. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra linens and pillows. The pots and pans were a higher quality non-stick and there were plenty of cookie sheets and baking dishes. I especially enjoyed the gel mat in the kitchen. I love to cook but with our hectic home life, don't have much time for it during the week. I appreciated that I had everything I needed to make some great meals for my family. The garage/game room was carpeted and felt more like a part of the house than a garage. There were plenty of games, books, toys and a TV to keep every age occupied on a rainy day. The washer and dryer came in handy and were a nice upgrade from the usual. Having Netflix was a plus as well! The south facing pool was simply amazing, so clean and well maintained. Many of the other reviews mention how warm the pool was and I completely agree. It was PERFECT!!! The hot tub actually got hot. There was plenty of furniture for all of us. Lots of pool toys too. The community of Windsor Hills is gated making it safe and secure. You have to use your registration card not only to get into but also out of the property. The clubhouse has lots to offer with a large pool, game room, fitness room, movie rentals and sundry shop. You can order burgers and sandwiches too. The pool slide has limited hours. Management is pretty strict on people laying out towels to save a chair for later. As for the location, you can't do any better than this. You are roughly 2-3 miles to each of the Disney parks. Other area attractions are only 10-15 minutes away. There are plenty of grocery stores close by. A Super Target is located 2 miles down 192 and there is a Publix a few miles south down Old Lake Wilson Road. I prefer this Publix over the one located at Orange Lake. There are several other Grocery stores located on 192. There are some great restaurants on 192 also: Miller's Ale House, Flipper's Pizza and Giordano's Pizza. Downtown Disney also offers some fantastic restaurants. If you like Italian, try Portobello's at Downtown Disney. There are also two outlet malls with a variety of stores nearby. I highly recommend this property! Thank you Chris & Julie Anne for a great stay!!!"

  • We knew we would be happy here

"Hi Karen – Once again, upon entering the house, we knew that we would be very happy there. Interestingly, the house was just down the road from a house we had stayed in 2 years ago. The layout was the same; however, the accommodations were far superior. The decorations were lovely, the furniture was very nice, the beds were comfortable, the pool was warm and clean, and we were so pleased that the living area was carpeted. Everything you need is here: cooking supplies, tableware, linens, towels, TVs, DVD players, etc. We spent a few days going to Universal and Disney World. Disney World is so close we always wonder why more people don’t stay in homes like yours. It’s so nice to spend a day in the parks, come home and make some dinner, and take a dip in the pool. I honestly think the children enjoy the pool more than anything else and it’s so nice that it’s RIGHT THERE. We don’t have to pack up, go down to a resort pool, worry about how late it stays open, or whether the kids will make it to a bathroom in time!! There is room to spread out and stay out of each other’s way and room to come together, have a meal, and watch a movie. We loved it. It’s like a home away from home. We come to Florida the same time every year and we are committed to remaining loyal to Karen because no matter which house we choose to stay in, we know that we will be pleased. Again, thank you so much for another lovely and relaxing experience. We will be in touch soon to book for next year!! Sincerely, Colleen J. Quinlisk Siau Quinlisk & Quinlisk, Ltd. Attorneys at Law"

  • Quality Experience

"Blue Heron is convenient to everything we needed during our stay in Orlando - airport, grocery, theme parks, restaurants, friends staying at Vistana, etc. - and there's a Starbucks within walking distance! This condo is equipped with everything you need to feel like a guest, but function as if you were at home. This condo is clean, secure, and well maintained. The condo furnishings are high quality; the bunk beds easily accommodate adults as well as children; and having a second bath comes in very handy when everyone is hurrying to get ready at the same time. The washer and dryer were a pleasant surprise as was the "starter package" of basic items (paper towel, trash bag, laundry & kitchen soap, etc.) - no need to run out and buy the basics on the first night; and for a short stay, no need to buy some items at all. Our visit was tranquil and without incident and the view out over the lake made for peaceful mornings & evenings. Todd was great to deal with - flexible on dates of stay, and quick in responding to emails and solving problems. I would gladly stay here again!"

Central/Disney/Orlando Area Travel Tips

Orlando is an idyllic vacation spot for both kids and those who are young at heart. As the mecca for all things Disney, there's a sense of magic here that is sure to bring out your inner child as you play and explore the city.

While images of theme parks galore may the the first thing that comes to mind, there's much more to this Florida city. While they are a big part of making Orlando a destination hotspot, there are also lovely tree-line neighborhoods to stroll through and plenty of history to learn about. Orlando also boasts a thriving performing arts scene so be sure to check out a live musical or theatrical performance during your stay. If the weather is nice, the city provides a variety of gardens and parks to enjoy where you can marvel at the beautiful flora and fauna as you dine on a picnic.

Many visitors head to Orlando between June and August, but it's great to visit year-round. If you live someplace that experiences all four seasons, trade in the dreary, cold days for ones filled with warmth and sunshine. It's lovely in the spring as well, when the flowers are in full bloom and the temperatures aren't climbing too high.

Orlando's Best Theme Parks

- Disney World: Orlando has become synonymous with Disney World - "the happiest place on earth." This is Walt Disney's flagship center of his worldwide theme park empire and the most popular on the globe. It's a magical place that all people no matter their age can enjoy as they experience the wonder, fantasy, excitement and fun of the park. Disney World itself is home to a variety of theme and water parks as well as shopping, entertainment, dining and more.

- Epcot: Travel all around the world without ever leaving Orlando at the Epcot Center. The World Showcase is reminiscent of a permanent world's fair containing 11 different countries including Mexico, China, Norway, Germany, Japan, Italy, America, Morocco, France, Canada and the United Kingdom. Epcot was the second park built at Disney World and spans 300 acres. Experience all sorts of unique cultures and heritages as you explore the park.

- Discovery Cove: If you've ever wanted to swim with dolphins, head to Discovery Cove, where you get the chance to interact with bottlenose dolphins swimming, doing tricks and playing. Afterward, grab some snorkeling equipment and check out the coral reef where you can see thousands of colorful tropical fish, then check out the stingrays and shark tank. The park also features a free-flight aviary with more than 250 tropical birds flying overhead that you can feed and interact with, such as parrots and toucans. The Grand Reef features a sandy white beach with palms lining an island where you'll find underwater grottos filled with moray eels, reef sharks and more tropical fish. Check out the Sea Venture, an underwater walk on the sea floor.

Things to Do in Orlando

- World of Orchids: If you have a green thumb or simply appreciate the beauty of nature, plan a trip to the World of Orchids. In an enclosed tropical rainforest you can see thousands of stunning blooms covering almost an acre. You'll feel as though you've been transported to the Amazon in this natural jungle-like setting featuring streams, waterfalls and even parrots. World of Orchids also boasts a 1,000 foot boardwalk by nearby wetlands.

- Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art: Art lovers and Tiffany enthusiasts will appreciate the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. It's home to the largest collection from Louis Comfort Tiffany, including art glass, lamps, leaded-glass windows, pottery, jewelry, paintings and the chapel interior from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The museum also boasts a huge collection of American art, pottery and representative collections of late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century American graphics, decorative arts and paintings.

- The Orlando Museum of Art: Keeping with the art theme, make your way to the Orlando Museum of Art to see ongoing exhibitions and displays of American landscapes and portraits, ancient American works and American impressionist pieces. Throughout the year the museum presents 10 to 12 exhibitions and provides a variety of enrichment programs, gallery tours, lectures, classes and more.

- Mad Cow Theatre: Plan a fun night out at the Mad Cow Theatre, one of Orlando's professional theater companies presenting a variety of works for the stage, including contemporary plays and musicals. Performances like Sunday in the Park with George, Death of a Salesman, Hedda Gabler, Next to Normal, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Our Town, Cinderella and many more have graced the stage here. Enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant then head to the Mad Cow Theatre for a delightful evening filled with live entertainment.
