  • Ocean walk -group of 6

"We stayed at the Ocean walk July 2014. The resort was beautiful. And the beach was clean. Our room was a 2 bedroom ocean view lock out and the perfect size for us. The Bohems were very easy to go through to book this unit. we received everything that was in the description and loved that price included tax and cleaning fees. Our room was clean and super nice. We had everything we needed Right next door were plenty of places to eat play and shop. It is within walking distance to the pier and driving distance to so many other things. If you have someone in your party whom steps are hard for, there are ramps to walk down on the property. The water slide and lazy river were free. Some Of the other activities poolside were not. In fact we couldn't find anything on the activities calender that was free that we wanted to go to. Check in was confusing. We were going to be early so we called ahead to see if we could check in early and the ocean walk employee said no. We drove around and did some sight seeing while waiting. We go to the resort and wanted to see if we could at least park there. I went in and there were two lines and I didn't know which to get in. I asked which one and the guy told me the other one was the only one I could check in at. Glad I asked so that I would know for when we came back an hour later. But then I heard employees saying guests could "early register" and we could park, use the facilities and then we would be called when our room was ready. It would have been nice to know we could have been there a lot earlier in the day. It wasn't a big deal to us though because we found other things to do. The downfall of the hotel was that there are not enough elevators. The elevators at check in/check out times are a joke. Be prepared to wait for Quite possibly a half hour for an elevator around check out times. it was hard to get a luggage rack. But when you did it was nearly impossible to find an elevator with enough room to get on. People ride up to go down and vs versa. We read the reviews and were prepared for this but didn't expect it to be as bad as it was. I wish there were a few seats to sit in while you waited. Also the doors close quick on them so people plow you over to get on as you get off. Parking could be a problem but were always able to find one. Pool chairs always had towels on them so you have to get there early(even though signs said don't reserve seats and towels will be roomed after not using for 30minutes."

  • perfect

"My family and I have been to Daytona many times over the years, and we have had some good and not so good places to stay. But this is the first place that we will defiantly book again. The condo was very clean and have plenty of space for 4 people. The Sunglow resort was very clean and very well staffed. Most of all it was private ( you had to use your key to get in and out of the pool area and in the building). Save us a week next July we will be back for sure!!"

  • Our summer Vacation June 2011

"A true home away from home with all the amenities you could want. This condo is truly described a paradise and I agree. We are 4 retired ladies who enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The ocean is just steps away and pristine. The pool was a welcome after ocean delight as we grilled steaks and chicken on the Bar-B-Q at poolside in the early evening. Everything you could want while you sit on the balcony overlooking the ocean and having breakfast in the early morning. The area golf courses are available to any level of play..... Thankyou for the use of your wonderful home away from home. JoAnn"

  • good property

"Nice location. Newly furnished. The flaws were the second bedroom had no tv, no dresser for clothes, and no hangers for the closet. The refrigerator was to close to the wall so when you opened up the freezer you couldn't get anything in there without laying things sideways. Needs a blender, mixing bowls, and some storage containers. Overall it was a good place, butjust needs a little improvement. Would stay again."

Florida Central East Travel Tips

Fun in the Sun on Florida’s East Coast

Florida’s famous weather makes the east coast an ideal destination at any time of year. The reason, of course, is the guaranteed sun with temperatures from 60 degrees Fahrenheit in winter to soaring to well over 80 degrees Fahrenheit in summer.

The area covers the counties of Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, Okeechobee and St. Lucie and includes some of America’s best beaches from Daytona to Vero. Getting here could not be easier, with the main airport being situated in Orlando and the I-95 running the length of the coast. Once visitors arrive at one of the many Florida East Coast vacation rentals on offer, they often wonder why they didn’t take this vacation before.

The Major Attractions for Central East Coast Florida

The huge variety of attractions makes Florida East Coast vacation rentals the perfect choices for those seeking a relaxed vacation with plenty on offer besides the fabulous beaches. The most famous attraction here is the world-renowned Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Station. This 140,000-acre site is the home of the America’s Space Program. There is also a wealth of typically American museums such as the Pioneer Settlement for the Creative Arts, Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science, Florida Agricultural Museum, and McLarty Treasure Museum.

For those able to tear themselves away from the beach, Lake Okeechobee is a great place for biking, hiking or fishing. The St. Johns River EcoTour at Orange City offers boat trips for sightseeing. Some of the major attractions in Florida are its wildlife and natural environment and there are many opportunities to enjoy taking some time to learn more about Florida’s non-human inhabitants. Orange City is the home to Blue Spring State Park, a wildlife area and bird sanctuary. Other such parks are found at Black Point, Merritt Island, Saint Sebastian and Jonathan Dickinson State Park.

Few visitors come to Florida without being drawn to Disney. Visitors to Florida East Coast condos will find they are within easy reach of a day trip or two to Disney and the huge array of theme parks, attractions, restaurants and shopping around Orlando vacation rentals.

A Great Location for Beach Lovers Looking for Something Extra

For those who come for the glorious sand and wonderful ocean, Florida East Coast beach rentals offer the opportunity to pick a home right on one of the many beaches in the area. The hardest part is deciding where along the miles of coastline will best suit your needs. Whether it is a secluded property for two or a family seeking a spacious beach home, you will find a property to suit any requirement. Fully equipped, these properties offer a home environment with everything you need to truly take advantage of your well-earned vacation.

Pick one of our Florida East Coast vacation rentals near one of the many beaches known for water sports such as jet skiing, waterskiing, deep sea fishing, and swimming for action-packed beach days or quiet, secluded areas for days spent beachcombing, fishing, and peaceful sunbathing.
