  • What a view !

"From the moment we walked through the door, all we could think of was the view ! So nice to have a ground floor condo. Very clean and well supplied. It took us about 2 minutes to be in the water. Week days, the beach was not crowded at all. Saw dolphins a couple of times, and a sea turtle laid eggs almost in front of the condo. Had a slight problem with parking pass, but all in all I don't think we could have found a nicer condo. Kids ate at the pier, and were not impressed at all with the food, but we found a Mexican place that was more than excellent. This is a nice condo and the view from the top floor was amazing. My son loved that Dunkin Donuts was only 2 miles from his bed in the mornings"

  • Perfect Vaction Home for Introverts

"The week my family spent at Harmony House was great. We loved having our own stretch of beach and lots of privacy. The house is not in a typical conglomeration of rental properties - if you are looking for miniature golf, go carts, jet skis, para-sailing , quad bikes and the like, you should look elsewhere. This rental is for people who like nature and quite. The beach is lined with coquina rocks, so playing in the waves is a low-tide activity, especially for small children. The rocks themselves are quite interesting, with basins and holes like Swiss cheese through which the waves surge at high tide. The house is not fancy (consistent with it's bronze rating) and could use some maintenance, but was comfortable enough. Be advised that the “bonus room” has changed very little since it's previous life as a garage and offers easy in-out privileges for bugs, including stunningly large (but harmless) huntsman spiders. The best thing about this real estate is location, location, location. There are no near neighbors on either side and having an unobstructed view of undeveloped coastline from the breakfast table was wonderful. VacationRentalPros manages this property in a profession manor – maybe too much so. They responded promptly to all inquiries, but also made me sign a one-sided contract with a long list of offenses that would result in our immediate eviction or extra charges to my credit card. That said, they didn't hassle us in any way during our visit, and the notices posted inside the house were much less adversarial. When comparing rental property prices be sure to read the fine print – in addition to taxes, a high cleaning fee, and a non-refundable damage fee, there is an additional charge of 5.95% for unspecified “amenities.” On the whole we were very pleased with our stay at Harmony House. The quite surroundings and proximity to nature suited our family of introverts well."

  • Wonderful Winter Break

"We traded cold and snow for warm blue skies and a mesmerizing ocean view. From the secure parking and building to the tastefully decorated condo and fully stocked kitchen our wants and needs were met. We spent 18 days here and can't wait to come next year for longer. Juan, the owner, was so easy to work with. Promptly answered our emails and phone calls. The location was on the beach and I was able to take long walks everyday. There were a few cars on the beach but there are designated lanes so no problem for the beach people. Grocery store and restaurants are a short walk. My favorite was Crabby Joe's at the pier. There's even a drive-in Christian Church just a couple of blocks down from the condo. The condo itself had all the conveniences we wanted. Having a washer/dryer right in the condo was a major plus. Probably the best thing is the 180 degree ocean view from the balcony (the balcony itself is oversized with both table/chairs and lounge chairs). I watched many a sunrise from that balcony! Oh- there's a pool and hot tub too. Can't wait to come back next year!"
