  • Perfect Vaction Home for Introverts

"The week my family spent at Harmony House was great. We loved having our own stretch of beach and lots of privacy. The house is not in a typical conglomeration of rental properties - if you are looking for miniature golf, go carts, jet skis, para-sailing , quad bikes and the like, you should look elsewhere. This rental is for people who like nature and quite. The beach is lined with coquina rocks, so playing in the waves is a low-tide activity, especially for small children. The rocks themselves are quite interesting, with basins and holes like Swiss cheese through which the waves surge at high tide. The house is not fancy (consistent with it's bronze rating) and could use some maintenance, but was comfortable enough. Be advised that the “bonus room” has changed very little since it's previous life as a garage and offers easy in-out privileges for bugs, including stunningly large (but harmless) huntsman spiders. The best thing about this real estate is location, location, location. There are no near neighbors on either side and having an unobstructed view of undeveloped coastline from the breakfast table was wonderful. VacationRentalPros manages this property in a profession manor – maybe too much so. They responded promptly to all inquiries, but also made me sign a one-sided contract with a long list of offenses that would result in our immediate eviction or extra charges to my credit card. That said, they didn't hassle us in any way during our visit, and the notices posted inside the house were much less adversarial. When comparing rental property prices be sure to read the fine print – in addition to taxes, a high cleaning fee, and a non-refundable damage fee, there is an additional charge of 5.95% for unspecified “amenities.” On the whole we were very pleased with our stay at Harmony House. The quite surroundings and proximity to nature suited our family of introverts well."

  • The return to St.Marteen

"I have visited Daytona Beach my whole life. The St.Marteen has by far been my favorite place I have stayed! We love the St.Marteen and we love 702! The condo is always clean. It is nicely decorated! It makes us feel like royalty! The condo is nicely stocked. It has everything you would to cook and entertain! We love the new electric grill! We have enjoyed working Hugh and Marlene over the years. We are looking forward to our next trip!"

  • Wonderful Vacation Spot !!

"We were able to get a spur-of-the-moment rental during the last week in January. Gary helped me work through the many details of finalizing the rental agreement and laying out the logistics and he was extremely thorough in all respects. The place is absolutely beautiful and beyond our expectations (this is not your ordinary beachfront rental condo). The location was on a relatively quiet part of the beach and main road. Walk out and turn left and you're on the driving part of the beach. Walk out and turn right and you're on the non-driving part of the beach. Best of both worlds right outside your door. There are many excellent restaurants within five or ten minutes and the owners' suggestions were right-on. We used this a base to daily explore state parks and natural areas within fifty miles and the location could not have been better. We loved this place and highly recommend it."
