"This is the 2nd year in a row I stayed at this location, 1 week last year , 2 weeks this year. House is very nice and location is excellent. Just a few minor issues this year. No hot water for 2 days, but Vacation Rentals did their best to rectify. Both propane tanks with grill were empty, but once Vacation Rentals notified, 2 tanks were delivered within 2 days. Other issue landscaping in back yard was really over grown this year. Landscapers did show up 12 days into my stay and cleaned up the yard nice. Only issue that has continued the last 2 years is no one ever shows up to clean the pool. The home owners might want to look into a new pool service if they are paying for this service. The pool bottom is covered in dirt and debris. For 2 weeks no one showed up to vacuum and pool was dirty upon arrival. Staying 2 weeks this year I thought someone would show up to vacuum the pool, but no one ever did. Other than a dirty pool, this rental is highly recommended. I also left a boogie board, football, volleyball, beach bag, and pool float for future rental users. I would rent this house again."Guest: Ken T. "<br/>We had a wonderful family time with all the kids and grand kids. The pool was the highlight for lot's of fun and games,The family room was spacious and had plenty of seating. We added a leaf to the table to accommodate 13 Negatives This is our 7th or 8th beach house rental over the years, About 8 or ten light bulbs were burnt out on high ceiling,The ice maker seems to be a chronic problem from reading other reviews had to purchase ice daily. Our last rental had an icemaker independent of the refrigerator worked great Door lock not working locksmith came next morning to rekey,Brought community pool key quikly when called. Dishwasher had broken racks so difficult to stand plates up .We visited in August so the house had had a lot of wear and tear but looked surprising good. Most rentals have a 3 ring binder that tells you how things work this house did not Would reccomend this house<br/>"Guest: Judy N. "We stayed at the Ocean walk July 2014. The resort was beautiful. And the beach was clean. Our room was a 2 bedroom ocean view lock out and the perfect size for us. The Bohems were very easy to go through to book this unit. we received everything that was in the description and loved that price included tax and cleaning fees. Our room was clean and super nice. We had everything we needed Right next door were plenty of places to eat play and shop. It is within walking distance to the pier and driving distance to so many other things. If you have someone in your party whom steps are hard for, there are ramps to walk down on the property. The water slide and lazy river were free. Some Of the other activities poolside were not. In fact we couldn't find anything on the activities calender that was free that we wanted to go to. Check in was confusing. We were going to be early so we called ahead to see if we could check in early and the ocean walk employee said no. We drove around and did some sight seeing while waiting. We go to the resort and wanted to see if we could at least park there. I went in and there were two lines and I didn't know which to get in. I asked which one and the guy told me the other one was the only one I could check in at. Glad I asked so that I would know for when we came back an hour later. But then I heard employees saying guests could "early register" and we could park, use the facilities and then we would be called when our room was ready. It would have been nice to know we could have been there a lot earlier in the day. It wasn't a big deal to us though because we found other things to do. The downfall of the hotel was that there are not enough elevators. The elevators at check in/check out times are a joke. Be prepared to wait for Quite possibly a half hour for an elevator around check out times. it was hard to get a luggage rack. But when you did it was nearly impossible to find an elevator with enough room to get on. People ride up to go down and vs versa. We read the reviews and were prepared for this but didn't expect it to be as bad as it was. I wish there were a few seats to sit in while you waited. Also the doors close quick on them so people plow you over to get on as you get off. Parking could be a problem but were always able to find one. Pool chairs always had towels on them so you have to get there early(even though signs said don't reserve seats and towels will be roomed after not using for 30minutes."Guest: SaraP Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 2, 2014View listing
