  • Paradise found is Paradise Found

"GREAT house and location! Paradise Found is an old fashioned Florida "block" house loaded with old Florida CHARM. Paradise Found reminded me of my childhood, as I was born in Brevard County in the late 1950's and lived in a "block house" through out my childhood. I have lived out of state for many years and my recent stay at Paradise found was a delight. The cottage interior has been modernized for convenience without sacrificing its charm. The cottage is tastefully decorated with a "Southern Living" style beach theme. The grassy backyard has some shade and a picnic table for meals if you wish. The beach access is directly down the stairs at the back of the yard and there is a hose to wash off your feet when you return. We used it for ourselves and our dog to get the sand off us all before we went back into the house. I used the kitchen extensively as I am a picky eater and like to cook my own meals. While the kitchen is small it had everything I needed. The only downside would be no dishwasher, but with just two of us it was not an issue. The best thing we liked about Paradise found was it's privacy. There are houses on either side but the vegetation along the sides of the property concealed the view. We never saw or heard the neighbors. As this area is almost exclusively single family residences the beach is not crowded and we often saw many shore birds including a great grey heron who liked to fish the area every morning and evening. Sebastian inlet state park is a few miles down the road and defiantly worth a daytrip. There is a great ped/bike trail that runs alongside a1a which I rode my bike on daily. If you have the time try kayaking on the Indian river early one morning. There are rentals in the area I used my own so I can not recommend any of them from experience. I saw manatee and many birds and it was so quiet and peaceful at that time of day. A day trip to Cocoa Village is worth the trip. Also drive scenic South Tropical Trail which begins at the south end of Merritt Island. We stayed two weeks at Paradise found and enjoyed long walks and shelling on the beach with our dog every day. We plan to book Paradise Found again on our next visit to the area. We recommend you do too!"

  • What a beautiful house!

"My wife and our kids and their spouses and our 3 year old grandson (9 total) and our small Jack Russell dog, spent a long weekend there from 9/19/14 - 9/22/14. We had a wonderful time. Although the weather forecast was terrible, it ended up we had decent weather and were able to spend plenty of time on the beach. The house was beautiful and perfect for us. My wife and I slept in the apartment above the garage, and the kids stayed in the main house. The provisions were great. Everything you could need. We had a problem with one of the doorknobs and initially getting on the internet, but we called the number Robert gave us and it was fixed in a very timely manner. The beach is right at the back door, just walk over the short walkway and you are there. The beach is somewhat narrow, maybe 20-30 yards. The's a short walk back to the house. You don't even need to bring a cooler. The limits some activities, like volleyball, or frisbee. The waves were great. We're from the west coast of Florida, and that's why we came to the east coast. Most of the swimmers were surfers. The beach was very private, with only a few people from the small hotel next door. I would definitely recommend this house and will probably make it an annual vacation with the whole family. We stayed in the house the whole time. Only went out to go to Publix a couple of times and cooked all our meals there. The Master Bedroom was gorgeous."

  • Family Friendly Getaway

"This property is excellent for its proximity to the beach, which is very private. We might have meet 6 people that were just strolling the beach looking for sea shells or walking their dog. The area in which the property is located is secluded enough you feel like you are the only ones there, yet you have neighbors and plenty of places to see and do within a few minutes drive. From this propoerty, it is an easy drive to Disney World, Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach, etc. There are a plethra of places to grab a bite to nearby or if you prefer to cook, a grocery store only 6 miles up the highway. The house is well furnished with cooking and sleeping equipment. I was able to meet the owner of the property, and they are very nice folks. I would recommend renting this property for your vacation or getaway. You won't be disappointed."

  • Great Vacation Rental

"We just got home from a week of vacation at this home. It's nicely appointed and decorated and provides plenty of room for a family of five. The back yard offers lush Florida greenery, creating a secluded place to relax. It's a very quick walk to a private beach used by home owners and guests in the community. The neighborhood is quiet and there is very little traffic. If you enjoy bicycling, walking or running, there is a wide paved path that runs along A1A for miles. Sebastian Inlet State Park is just a few miles to the south. The owner was very easy to work with and answered any questions we had about the property. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in the home again!"
