  • Happiness Cove is such a perfect name for such a beautiful place!

"Happiness Cove is such a perfect name for such a beautiful place. We had a wonderful time windsurfing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, skating, skateboarding, running and tri-biking (of all things). But nothing could be more wonderful than just sitting on the porch watching the water, the clouds, the dolphins, the birds, and even a manatee and an otter! A few weeks of this relaxation, peace and joy has gone a long way towards restoring our sanity. We also visited the Kennedy Space Center three times and saw two launches!! We hit the mother lode of manatees when we were kayaking and I got to pet some! We had family and friends join us for a few days, did a couple of cook-outs, a sunset paddle at the park at Sykes Creek, and hit a few yard sales. The house is very well thought out, comfortable, bright, had pretty much everything we needed, and was a pure pleasure to live in. Thank you so much! We hope to be back again. B & B, NC – May 2014"

  • Unbelievable view

"Let me start off by saying the view, as another reviewer wrote, is worth $1,000,000,000. Unbelievably beautiful view - the pool? fabulous. Private yard - accessible to everything you might need (Walmart, Publix, Mall, restaurants, etc within 5 mins) it is worth overlooking some other things that were not to our satisfaction. We can make the best out of any situation and so we did. The kitchen is not equipped for a family, similar to ours, that cooks daily. Since we drove down & did not see a list of kitchen items in the listing, we brought own pots/plastic dinnerware, my sister loaned us flatware, etc. We are so happy we did! The hall bathroom is old but okay, the en suite shower is quite ugly (we wore flip flops when using). The carpeting is on the older side, the kitchen table only has chairs for 4 - we pulled in plastic chairs to be able to eat around the table. The outdoor setting could use new cushions.... One bedroom has ceiling fan - another room has a floor fan that did not work and the 3rd bedroom has a floor fan (my husband cleaned the fan before using due to the amount of dust on it). The dishwasher went and Annette took care of it immediately - as with a plumbing issue. Overall, if you are not going to cook much or at all, if you can overlook the dated carpeting and baths, the view makes it so worth it - the sunrises are beautiful - the daily dolphin visits incredible - and the Banana River is awesome. The water view really helps one relax and forget about things for a while...."

  • Serenity on the water

"We stayed at this house for three weeks and really felt at home here. Everything that we needed to settle in was provided and the owners were helpful and close by if we had any questions or problems. We miss most watching the sunrise over the river every morning and the sense of calm that it produced. The outdoor area was breathtaking and overlooked a deep water canal with lots of wildlife. There were kayaks available to use in the river and the swimming pool was deep enough to actually swim. We found the neighborhood to be safe and were comfortable walking and exploring all over the area. It was residential in nature but close enough to have many options for eating out and shopping and taking in a movie if desired. We would definitely recommend this home for rental and would love to visit here again."

  • Great Vacation!

"My recent stay at this Merritt Island property was absolutely great! I love the home and its layout with the breakfast room, bar counter and stools, and spacious rooms. Above all is the private pool and its offshoot Jacuzzi - pick where you want to relax! It was my third time there and not the last! The owners are the best, and so accommodating."
