  • Beach town Garden of Eden

"After visiting New Smyrna Beach since 1972, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the Sea Wood Condo area. The pools, and properties were perfectly maintained, and surrounded by beautiful oak trees. The rental unit was more than we expected, and was completely furnished as if you were at home. Conveniently located to everything on the island, including beaches across the street. Looking forward to next year."

  • Mixed feelings

"I'm struggling to write this review. This was our 3rd or 4th time to ORV. The complex itself is immaculately kept, well run with a great onsite manager who can deal with any issues right away. We have always had a great time. ORV is handy to all sorts of restaurants, a large shopping mall with Publix etc. Everything we need is so handy that the last couple of years we have skipped renting a car. There is a local tiki bar a 2 minute walk down the beach..in the other direction a 15 minute beach walk brings you to Flagler Ave...full of shops, bars, restaurants. First of the Pros Huge king bed...very comfortable, with a ceiling fan directly overhead, making sleeping pleasurable Unit is spotless, with all the necessary pots, pans etc. Lovely big fridge with icemaker and filtered water thingie. Large deck with the appropriate chairs, tables etc., for morning coffee or after dinner nightcap Cons The "wraparound" balcony pic, I think is a little deceiving for those not familiar with the property. To the immediate right of the existing shot is a large portion of the building..including the front door of another unit where from 20 feet away you can watch your neighbours come and go. To the left is the tennis court While there are lots of boogie boards etc With the exception of one small chair and small umbrella, we found the additional beach chairs and umbrella had seen better days. It took a struggle and goodly amounts of WD40 to get another one of them open. You might want to bring your own. There were a couple of maintenance issues that need to be addressed...although in fairness, nothing that affected our vacation experience (because we are hardly ever in the unit) but did speak to attention to detail. While we will definitely be back to ORV, unfortunately I dont think 311 would be our first choice."

  • Great home highly recommend for families or groups

"Stayed here for three nights and it was an extremely clean, well furnished home, with very easy to work with owners. Very close walk to the beach entrance and a Publix just a mile down the road. Home had everything we needed for the weekend: kitchen equipment and utensils, towels, sheets, blankets. Wood and tile floors throughout. It was everything we'd hoped for and made the weekend that much better."

  • We had a great time!

"Our stay at Watermark was great! The Condo was very close to the beach, which made it easy to take chairs, tents, coolers, and a 1 year old down with little problem! The Condo is very nicely furnished with plenty of things to keep everyone busy after a long day at the beach (we enjoyed the arcade games). There was also plenty of space for all 5 of us. Not to mention the view from the patio is outstanding! The Condo is very close to the shops and restaurants of New Smyrna beach so we didn't have to worry about driving anywhere, which was a plus! We look forward to making another trip down in the near future!"

Southeaster Travel Tips

Southeaster Beach Rentals: Better Than Ever

The construction is over! After a multi-million dollar renovation, the Southeaster beach condominium community is now better than ever. Southeaster condos are some of the most popular in the area, especially due to the fact that the community is one of the few beachfront condo complexes in the region. Most condos come with fully equipped, state-of-the-art kitchens along with oceanfront views and balconies. Featuring two heated pools, grilling areas, and a multitude of sports courts, Southeaster beach rentals are mere feet from the Atlantic Ocean.

Southeaster Condos Put You Close to the Action

The beauty and activities of the area are yours with these New Smyrna Beach rentals. Take a guided kayak tour or a relaxing four-hour destination cruise (complete with wine and refreshments) at the nearby Marine Discover Center. In addition to providing a fascinating look at Florida's marine life, the Discover Center also offers in-depth eco-tours of the Indian River Lagoon, the most diverse estuary ecosystem in the country. If you're looking to get your hands on some fresh Florida seafood, consider booking a fishing trip on the Pastime Princess. Spend a day deep-sea fishing on the open ocean, complete with on-board restaurant and restrooms.

From Refreshing Margaritas to Blackened Alligator: Taste the Local Cuisine Around New Smyrna Beach Rentals

If you're not up to cooking, Southeaster beach rentals are a mere two-minute drive from Mi Mexico Mexican Restaurant. Mi Mexico has become a local favorite thanks to its killer margaritas and generous portions. Be forewarned that Mi Mexico often gets packed at peak dinner times: Go for lunch or an early/late dinner for a more relaxing meal. If you're in the mood for seafood, head out to JB's Fishcamp, which claims to have served the first blackened alligator in the region. Featuring a Cajun-inspired menu and fresh Florida ingredients, this restaurant wows guests daily with dockside seating, fresh-shucked corn, and home-grown shellfish from neighboring Cedar Creek.

Southeaster beach rentals offer ultimate luxury mixed with stunning oceanfront views. Forget the overcrowded hotels and book a stay at Southeaster instead.
