"Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and wouldn't have any qualms about coming back. The oceanfront location with private beach and pool was ideal for us. The overall value was excellent and our non-standard arrival and departure dates were accepted without question, which was greatly appreciated.
The building itself is clearly one of the older ones on the beach (a composite picture in the lobby may show that it was actually the first!), so it's definitely dated. It seems the lobby/hallways are not air conditioned, but the condo definitely is. As for the grounds, there was an on-site maintenance guy who was cleaning up around the pool deck each morning, so that was always well taken care of. The beach directly behind the property is fairly short (actually non-existent at high tide), so we went around the corner each day, with no issues.
The first impression once inside the condo is just awesome - you're greeted with a view straight out to the ocean through the sliding doors. It's great to walk in and say "Woah!" The inside of the condo was clearly updated in some places, but not all. The decor is tastefully done (not overly beachy/Floridian). There is a pleasant mix of newer and older furniture and nothing looks out of place or overused (except maybe the couch). The beds were comfortable (the king was softer, the double more firm) and the pillows were great.
The bathrooms have nice, newer fixtures. A few small touches (like shower caddies/soap dishes, bath mats, new curtain rings, etc.) would have gone a long way to making them a bit more useful.
There was a nice selection of beach toys in the hall closet. This was a pleasant surprise, since it was something we hadn't thought of before getting there. There is an outside shower on the pool deck, which is also very nice for cleaning those toys off before heading back inside.
There were a few areas that could definitely use some attention (the ceiling in the master bath had some cracks/peeling plaster, the microwave, the bi-fold doors that kept coming out of their tracks), but nothing at all major.
The cable box/interface is ridiculously bad. You can't tell what the stations are (unless you want to decipher or happen to know the WOFLHD is the local Fox affiliate) and there is no guide to tell you what's on. That was not a big deal for us as we didn't watch much TV - but we wanted to check in on a few football games and that was pretty painful"
