  • Another blissful time at the beach

"We have stayed at this condo a number of times. The location is fantastic, amenities work well for our family, and it's quiet. The condo itself has everything you need to cook at home, wash, entertain, etc. We love that the living area is open with access to a beautiful ocean view. The property is clean and well-maintained. The rental agency was accomdating and friendly. I highly reccommend!"

  • Peaceful, Beautiful, Amazing!!!

"My family and I stayed at this beach rental at the beginning of April, which was the perfect time! It was after the Spring Break crowd and before the Annual Boat Race and Rib Festival (although those sounded like fun too!). The weather was immaculate, couldn't have been better! The first thing that we noticed about the rental was the amazing view! It is everything the picture shows and more!! The front porch allows breathtaking views of the sea, while the back porch allows for stunning sunsets over the river - this alone was worth the money we paid for the rental! Inside was just as the pictures show, nothing fancy (we didn't mind - we weren't spending much time at the house). The place is plenty spacious, we had 3 adults and 4 children staying. My top praises for the place were, it was clean, it was roomy, and it had modern amenities (wi-fi, satellite tv, AC). We were quite comfortable. Some things I would change are adding a full size coffee pot (had a small 4cp pot), adding more towels (did laundry twice for clean shower towels), and adding garbage cans outside with lids (the raccoons liked to dig out the trash daily so that was a chore). All in all this was a perfect place for us! The location is private and beautiful - yet close to everything! We saw dolphins swimming in the morning while eating breakfast, that was incredible. I found that the whole stay was quite relaxing and accommodations were comfortable (if you are looking for luxury, this is not the place - but it was very affordable and you get plenty for what you pay for). The outdoor shower was a great thing to have too after a day at the beach! We plan to stay here again! There are also no window screens so it was impossible to open the windows for a nice breeze. That was about the only bummer I can think of."

  • Another wonderful stay in Stuart, FL

"Another year ... another wonderful 3 weeks in Stuart, FL. I concur with all of the great things people say about Stuart, Cindy and Jeff, and the Boathouse. So, what was different this year? Two new kayaks and four bikes! Kayaking was excellent this year. I encountered dolphins in the river, about 12 yards from my kayak, and followed them for awhile. I also saw a dolphin swimming up the river in front of the cottage. I finally purchased a bird guide so I could identify the great number of birds around the mangrove island across from the cottage."

Florida Central East Travel Tips

Fun in the Sun on Florida’s East Coast

Florida’s famous weather makes the east coast an ideal destination at any time of year. The reason, of course, is the guaranteed sun with temperatures from 60 degrees Fahrenheit in winter to soaring to well over 80 degrees Fahrenheit in summer.

The area covers the counties of Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, Okeechobee and St. Lucie and includes some of America’s best beaches from Daytona to Vero. Getting here could not be easier, with the main airport being situated in Orlando and the I-95 running the length of the coast. Once visitors arrive at one of the many Florida East Coast vacation rentals on offer, they often wonder why they didn’t take this vacation before.

The Major Attractions for Central East Coast Florida

The huge variety of attractions makes Florida East Coast vacation rentals the perfect choices for those seeking a relaxed vacation with plenty on offer besides the fabulous beaches. The most famous attraction here is the world-renowned Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Station. This 140,000-acre site is the home of the America’s Space Program. There is also a wealth of typically American museums such as the Pioneer Settlement for the Creative Arts, Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science, Florida Agricultural Museum, and McLarty Treasure Museum.

For those able to tear themselves away from the beach, Lake Okeechobee is a great place for biking, hiking or fishing. The St. Johns River EcoTour at Orange City offers boat trips for sightseeing. Some of the major attractions in Florida are its wildlife and natural environment and there are many opportunities to enjoy taking some time to learn more about Florida’s non-human inhabitants. Orange City is the home to Blue Spring State Park, a wildlife area and bird sanctuary. Other such parks are found at Black Point, Merritt Island, Saint Sebastian and Jonathan Dickinson State Park.

Few visitors come to Florida without being drawn to Disney. Visitors to Florida East Coast condos will find they are within easy reach of a day trip or two to Disney and the huge array of theme parks, attractions, restaurants and shopping around Orlando vacation rentals.

A Great Location for Beach Lovers Looking for Something Extra

For those who come for the glorious sand and wonderful ocean, Florida East Coast beach rentals offer the opportunity to pick a home right on one of the many beaches in the area. Whether it is a secluded property for two or a family seeking a spacious beach home, you will find a property to suit any requirement.
