  • Four Palms Beach House a ****-and-Span Gem

"This is such a fantastic, nearly perfect house that I'll put my two complaints -- one minor and one potentially major-- at the top. Minor: The sectional sofa is pretty darn deep and thus hard for us old folks to get in and out of. Potentially major: There are no handholds on either of the walk-in showers; I was happy that there was a choice of two walk-ins for my 94-y-o mother, but the lack of grab bars was scary for her and us. All went well, but I'm hoping the owners will fix this. It will be to their benefit. Oh, but the rest of the house? Fabulous. So new and shiny. Extremely comfortable beds. Most of us slept well all 7 nights. The house had the best-equipped vacation kitchen we've seen. And there was a gas grill. Beach access was easy. There was a beach umbrella (no beach chairs; bring your own). Be warned: There are a lot of steps, but the choppiness of the house is part of its charm, and there's plenty of privacy among the 4 BRs and 4 baths (and a little hdden sitting room). What else? Hmmmm. Washer and dryer on the top floor and in the basement, how about that? And there's the excellent South Beach Grill a block away. All of the TVs are great, but the big one in the LR even has DVR. We all agree that this will be a fine place to celebrate my mom's 95th birthday in April -- if that grab-bar thing can be dealt with. Thanks so much to the Kokomoors for making their house available!"

  • Sisters in Nashville Tn.

"We had a very relaxing vacation in your lovely home. The short walk to the beach was perfect for those who love the ocean, and the pool was an extra bonus. Thank you for sharing this lovey home, I know we will be back."

  • Paradise found!

"We were so excited to see that the house was even better than the pictures. We have rented other beach houses, but this is the perfect place if you love private beaches. My husband and I wanted a romantic getaway, and we got it, but all we could talk about was bringing the kids in the summer."

  • Warm Weather Getaway

"After a long, cold, snowy New England winter we were very excited about our getaway to Florida. Warm weather and a place by the ocean was all we were looking for but we got SO much more. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. The condo is fabulous and the pictures do not do justice. We all had our own bedroom with bathroom, the kitchen is stocked with just about every utensil to make cooking in a pleasure, and the view is spectacular! We enjoyed walking the beach to the National Park, renting kayaks at JBs to see the manatees, and of course shopped on Flagler Street. This is a great place to vacation where you can relax by the pool and ocean, be very active with water sports/walking the beach, and being a little over an hour from Disney World enjoy a visit with Mickey. Donna is very easy to work with and readily available if you need anything. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning in the future."

Florida Central East Travel Tips

Fun in the Sun on Florida’s East Coast

Florida’s famous weather makes the east coast an ideal destination at any time of year. The reason, of course, is the guaranteed sun with temperatures from 60 degrees Fahrenheit in winter to soaring to well over 80 degrees Fahrenheit in summer.

The area covers the counties of Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, Okeechobee and St. Lucie and includes some of America’s best beaches from Daytona to Vero. Getting here could not be easier, with the main airport being situated in Orlando and the I-95 running the length of the coast. Once visitors arrive at one of the many Florida East Coast vacation rentals on offer, they often wonder why they didn’t take this vacation before.

The Major Attractions for Central East Coast Florida

The huge variety of attractions makes Florida East Coast vacation rentals the perfect choices for those seeking a relaxed vacation with plenty on offer besides the fabulous beaches. The most famous attraction here is the world-renowned Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Station. This 140,000-acre site is the home of the America’s Space Program. There is also a wealth of typically American museums such as the Pioneer Settlement for the Creative Arts, Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science, Florida Agricultural Museum, and McLarty Treasure Museum.

For those able to tear themselves away from the beach, Lake Okeechobee is a great place for biking, hiking or fishing. The St. Johns River EcoTour at Orange City offers boat trips for sightseeing. Some of the major attractions in Florida are its wildlife and natural environment and there are many opportunities to enjoy taking some time to learn more about Florida’s non-human inhabitants. Orange City is the home to Blue Spring State Park, a wildlife area and bird sanctuary. Other such parks are found at Black Point, Merritt Island, Saint Sebastian and Jonathan Dickinson State Park.

Few visitors come to Florida without being drawn to Disney. Visitors to Florida East Coast condos will find they are within easy reach of a day trip or two to Disney and the huge array of theme parks, attractions, restaurants and shopping around Orlando vacation rentals.

A Great Location for Beach Lovers Looking for Something Extra

For those who come for the glorious sand and wonderful ocean, Florida East Coast beach rentals offer the opportunity to pick a home right on one of the many beaches in the area. The hardest part is deciding where along the miles of coastline will best suit your needs. Whether it is a secluded property for two or a family seeking a spacious beach home, you will find a property to suit any requirement. Fully equipped, these properties offer a home environment with everything you need to truly take advantage of your well-earned vacation.

Pick one of our Florida East Coast vacation rentals near one of the many beaches known for water sports such as jet skiing, waterskiing, deep sea fishing, and swimming for action-packed beach days or quiet, secluded areas for days spent beachcombing, fishing, and peaceful sunbathing.
