Recent Clearwater Beach reviews

  • Just perfect, location location location and super romantic

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for Christmas, based on the reviews, we hoped for something romantic with a cute home feeling and that's exactly what we got. It's a small studio apartment upstairs that has direct access to the beach, in what we felt was the perfect part of Clearwater beach. Everything you need is included, and the outside space is wonderful, especially the patio area. Breakfast and dinner were eaten up there and it was a great place to chill out. Walked the beach up to the pier everyday and enjoyed the tranquillity. Angel and his wife Linda were around for us if we needed them, and made sure we had everything we needed, including good chairs for the beach, and advice when we needed it. The laundry facilities were perfect and easy, coffee machine, toaster oven, wifi, ...the list goes on. I would really recommend this for a romantic get away, it's small yes, but it's cozy, and comfortable, with great amenities and a comfy bed. Space to park a car, and beautiful views. The beach is probably no more than 30 steps, and it's soft white clean sand. You really can't go wrong with this one, if we return to Clearwater Beach, I would stay here for sure. Easy to do business with, kind and generous people. BOOK NOW."

  • Relaxing Getaway!!

"My husband and another couple stayed at this house for a week and it was glorious! The house was immaculate, comfortable and very well-appointed. Both the living room and master bedroom suite have amazing views of the beach. The house came stocked with excellent kitchen supplies for easy cooking and a great bbq pit. The garage was stocked with great beach supplies - chairs, umbrellas, floats etc. The beach was a quiet getaway with clean white sand and clear warm water. There were restaurants and activities close by and we were only a 15 min from Clearwater. We kayaked from Clearwater to Caladesi island which was really fun, we saw dolphins, fish, birds and found some really unique shells. We also drove to Tampa one evening for a night out and ate at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City. It was fantastic, great food, great sangria, great music and flamenco dancing; definitely worth the 45 min drive. We were all sad to leave at the end of the week and can't wait to return!"

  • Not the studio we rented, but apparently upgraded to larger quarters!

"The unit in the photo online was not the one we were given, we were surprised to learn on arrival...we were upgraded to a one bedroom cottage with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, very nice and much more roomy than we expected to have. We had everything we needed, and used the laundry to bleach the towels, which had orangy/reddish spots we were a little leary of, but even after bleaching they remained, so we were ok with that...The cottage was clean, except for the window in the shower, so we left the blinds open on parting, so the maid would see it. The bed was comfortable and clean...if you like the thick and firm pillows, you'll be fine, or you should bring your favorite pillow if you prefer soft...I bought a new one. Oh, there was a courtyard to navigate to get to the cottage behind the others, and it was not lit at night...when we arrived at about 11pm, we had to unload the car and make our way in the dark to our entrance in the back. I suggest better lighting in that courtyard. Now, remember I am not reviewing the unit pictured and described here..I can't find the actual unit we had...but my daughter and I did enjoy our stay...Thanks for the upgrade! We spend our days exploring nature preserves, weather permitting...We went to Fort DeSoto, Boyd Hill, Walsingham, Boca Ciago, Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island. We still had time to take in a movie and do a little shopping on a rainy day..One day after hours of birding, we returned to the beach, tired and thirsty, we ducked into a "dive" for a drink, and had a great salad with seasoned shrimp that was delicious...So if you want a good meal close to the pier and beach, look for the Beach Fyre Grill...friendly service, and big screen (we watched part of a bowl game and chatted with a local)...it was a very nice experience. We had a great trip, overall..."

  • Wonderful stay!

"We are just ending a wonderful month here in this lovely spot. The house is well equipped with everything you could need or want. It was great to be able to go out in the boat, to explore the canals, all the beautiful homes, and best of all the amazing variety of birds! Even saw a dolphin right off the dock. The heated pool was enjoyed nearly every day, especially when our grandchildren came to visit. The owner was always accessible and ready to help, if there were any questions or issues. Every store/restaurant you could ask for within easy reach, and the kids loved the private beach too. Make sure you visit Tarpon Springs for some yummy Greek food and Homosassa State Park to see more Florida wildlife close up. We will be back next year!"
