  • Wow Wow Wow, one of our BEST vacations ever!

"We were a large family group of 11 and we just loved this place! The property was just as advertised, it was clean & well-maintained and the owner was very kind and responsive to our needs. The pictures don't do it justice, the place is just beautiful and so incredibly comfortable. We were very impressed with the home, location, amenities and comfort. The only thing we had to worry about was running out of ice ;) During our 4 day stay we only left the house to go to the beach and to take our little ones to the park across the street (which is another great bonus for families I might add). We made full use of the kitchen & grill, cooking all of our meals while we were here. There was enough cookware/silverware for everything & everyone and the elevator was a huge help for transporting luggage & groceries. Also, let me say that having the kitchen/living room area on the 4th floor is a masterstroke! Located high enough to enjoy all of the marvelous views while cooking/eating while also being conveniently located just below the 5th floor patio and hot tub. We pumped up the music, cooked/grilled, made drinks and soaked in the hot tub....it was like being on a cruise! Just a marvelously fun time, truly one of our best vacations ever and we will definitely be back next year to do it again. I would recommend this rental to any family or group looking for a quality place and a great time! By the way, if you want a truly great pizza....we recommend Gondoliers Pizza (about 2 miles south). Our last night was the only time we ordered food instead of cooking, and this was the only restaurant we dined at. The pizza was very very good. Thanks! -LG"

  • Exceptional Stay

"Awesome stay. She met us there and was very friendly. This condo had everything we needed right down to a beach cart. Location quiet and the groundskeeper was right on point with any answers and assistance. Very affordable for our family of 3. Watched dolphins jump right at the harbor. Highly impressed."

  • Had a wonderful time

"Arrived on Sat April 26 to some steamy hot weather and upon entering the condo the temperature was nice and cool. The décor was lovely and the unit well furnished, I especially loved the Master bedroom and en-suite bathroom with dual sinks and shower heads. I also loved the fridge which supplied lots of ice cubes and crushed ice, great for filling up coolers and drinks on demand. The location was central to everything and dining choices were everywhere. My only complaint was trying to drive through the weekend traffic on the main strip as it seems everyone was staying local on the weekend we arrived. All in all a very good stay and a beautiful location and views. I would like to see a price drop for repeat customers and would gladly stay there again."

Clearwater Beach Travel Tips

If your perfect vacation includes digging your toes in the sand, perfecting your tan under the warm sun, swimming and playing in the ocean and watching stunning sunsets over the water, then it's time to book your next getaway to Clearwater Beach. This Florida hotspot is a favorite beach destination, and with good reason. Sandy beaches are idyllic spots to relax, but you're close enough to bigger cities like Tampa and St. Petersburg that you can enjoy that hustle and bustle as well.

While the shores are certainly a huge draw there, there's so much more to experience in Clearwater Beach. You're sure to appreciate the laid-back atmosphere here as you explore the fun, cultural attractions and sample the local flavors at the variety of awesome eateries. If you're not convinced, Clearwater Beach has been awarded a variety of achievements, including TripAdvisor's Travelers Choice Awards Best Beaches in 2011 and Washington Family Magazine Readers' Choice for Best Beaches for Families 2012.

It's dedicated to caring for injured animals, providing them with rescue and rehabilitation, and then releasing them back into their natural habitat. The museum is home to all sorts of wildlife including river otters, bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays, sharks and a whole host of colorful fish. Creatures with serious injuries become permanent residents here, and the most well-known is Winter, a bottlenose dolphin rescued in 2005 after her tail got caught in a crab trap. Her injuries were very extensive, so was given a prosthetic tail, and her story was turned into a movie titled "Dolphin Tale" in 2011. After a trip the the museum, your family can rent the movie and learn even more about Winter!

- Early Bird Dinner Theatre: For a fun and unique night out head to Ed Fletcher's Early Bird Dinner Theatre where you can see a live, professional performance while enjoying a buffet dinner. Not only do you get to experience great entertainment, but you get to dine on a delicious meal while you do so. What could be better? The 2014 season includes "Lend Me a Tenor," "A Bad Year For Tomatoes," "Cookin' With Gas" and "Greater Tuna."
