  • Three months of hidden paradise

"My wife and I rented this great condo Jan thru March. I hesitate to tell people about this area of Florida because it is a hidden gem and I'd rather have it all to myself. The condo is decorated very upbeat, bright, Florida style. Very clean and no bugs inside the entire time. We had two small issues for repair upon our arrival and Keri had it taken care of immediately. Keri was also very helpful answering questions and giving recommendations. Appliances almost all new, 3TV's. Wifi worked good. Close to restaurants and grocery stores (walking distance) This was the first time being snow birds and I was hesitant at first to be at one place for three months and being bored, but no worries. There was so much to do and see in the area. Had fun fishing and crabbing. Saw 2 huge tarpon and lots of fish right off the dock. Manatees everywhere Jan and Feb. Fun festivals like manatee festival, strawberry festival, Greek festival, pirate festival etc. Lots of areas to explore. Tampa is about an hour and 15 minutes away., Orlando is approx 1.5 hrs away. Swimming pool has just been refurbished. Our kids and grandkids had a blast when they visited. One of the best things was meeting new friends in the condo. If you like to walk or bike, plenty of nice areas to do that. Only draw back I can think of was the no see em knats that came out about 30 minutes prior to sundown, but Off takes care of that."

  • Great place

"For french people. Nous avons adoré le condo. Madame Laura a été fort sympathique. Le condo était très propre et rempli de commodités pour les jours ensoleillés et les jour de pluie (pour petits et grands). Ocean Sand est un endroit unique. C'est la 3e fois que nous y allons dans 3 condos différents et nous avons toujours un bon service. L'endroit est tranquille et sécuritaire. Les couchers de soleil sont un spectacle quotidien."

  • Wonderful condo and location

"The condo is beautiful and very clean. Exactly like the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the fridge looked brand new. Furniture in the entire condo was clean and comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. The washing machine did leak while we were there, we called Susan to let her know and a new washer was delivered during our stay. Building was very nice. Elevator, garbage shoot & underground reserved parking was great. The carts to haul your luggage were very helpful. The pool area is very nice and has grills for cooking at no charge. The only thing we wished it had was a hot tub in the pool area. Access to the beach was right outside the gated pool area. The location is very easy to find and has lots of restuarants and entertainment close by. The drive north on Gulf Blvd to Clearwater or south to John's Pass is wonderful. You can see the ocean and the intercoastal from the balcony. Excellent stay!"

  • Great vacation spot!

"We had an absolutely fabulous time here during our stay in April, 2015! The house was great, well equipped for just about anything you would need. The deck was the greatest place to hang out and the location could not have been better. We saw up to 13 manatees every day, local boat traffic was interesting, and we were right in the middle of all the excitement. We bought the annual Florida State Park family pass and went to the Weeki Wachee Springs State Park just about every day. We saw the mermaids a few times, went to Buccaneer Bay water park (in the park) which was busy on many days and sparsely attended most days, making for great beaching and the swimming was unsurpassed. We went to many local restaurants, and most were very good. The Upper Deck, just across the street was a very nice place to go...dinner and a drink and BeckyJacks is a must-do. We kayaked the river twice, both days were amazing...one was a busy day on the weekend and the other was less congested during the week. We bicycled the Weeki Wachee Preserve with our mountain bikes several times and the area is blessed with the Suncoast and Withlacoochee bike paths, miles and miles of safe biking on pavement with a great deal of sun and shade. We watched the spectacular sunsetz at Bayport Pier several times. The home was top notch, the property manager was awesome and we thank the owner for letting us stay at such a beautiful spot. Believe me when I say we could not have been any happier with our HomeAway selection!"
