"It is a great little beach cottage!! You can go to the beach whenever you want, just a few steps away. Can't say enough about Valerie, she answered every question/concern we had. She always responded immediately and was extremely helpful!! A very genuinely nice person. We appreciated all of your help, and wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks again, Tim and Deb "

  • Perfection!!!

"What can I say! This townhouse was beautiful, modern and well equipped. You just need to bring your swimsuit and groceries. It was spacious and very well maintained. The pool was great and we also took advantage of the boat slip which is right in back of the townhouse. The location was perfect. We could easily walk to Pier 60, the beach and all the restaurants. Right across the street there was a great tiki bar with live music every night. My family had a fabulous time and we will definitely book this rental in the future. "

  • Perfect All Round!!

"We own a luxury property in Clearwater already however as it was rented we were keen to find somewhere that would meet our very high standards for our much needed vacation from the UK. We were certainly not disappointed! Belle Harbor is just the perfect location for a relaxing holiday with fantastic amenities all beautifully maintained. After 20 hours of travelling, the unit itself was a joy to walk into. Tasteful decor, spotlessly clean, spacious, wonderful views of the gulf & inter-coastal plus everything we needed to simply unpack, unwind & make our way straight across to Frenchie's for dinner! Jill & Michael were a delight to deal with, their thoughtfulness & attention to detail made it perfect in every way! Couldn't recommend it highly enough & we will certainly be back! "

  • Clean, cute and steps from the beach!

"Stayed for a quick 3 days to attend a friends wedding in Tampa. Very nice cottage, not much of a beach view as you are tucked away behind other cottages, but steps away from the sand! Everything is in mint condition, very well maintained property. 10 minute walk to Pier 60, highly recommended! Many things were provided with the unit that you would not expect to see, as I am a repeat user of vrbo.com. Angel was very accomodating, and gave us good tips on what to do and see. Loved everything about Clearwater Beach, only complaint is that the bathroom is a little small with some tight spaces, but has everything you need."

Clearwater Beach Travel Tips

If your perfect vacation includes digging your toes in the sand, perfecting your tan under the warm sun, swimming and playing in the ocean and watching stunning sunsets over the water, then it's time to book your next getaway to Clearwater Beach. This Florida hotspot is a favorite beach destination, and with good reason. Sandy beaches are idyllic spots to relax, but you're close enough to bigger cities like Tampa and St. Petersburg that you can enjoy that hustle and bustle as well.

While the shores are certainly a huge draw there, there's so much more to experience in Clearwater Beach. You're sure to appreciate the laid-back atmosphere here as you explore the fun, cultural attractions and sample the local flavors at the variety of awesome eateries. If you're not convinced, Clearwater Beach has been awarded a variety of achievements, including TripAdvisor's Travelers Choice Awards Best Beaches in 2011 and Washington Family Magazine Readers' Choice for Best Beaches for Families 2012.

The museum is home to all sorts of wildlife including river otters, bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays, sharks and a whole host of colorful fish. Creatures with serious injuries become permanent residents here, and the most well-known is Winter, a bottlenose dolphin rescued in 2005 after her tail got caught in a crab trap. Her injuries were very extensive, so was given a prosthetic tail, and her story was turned into a movie titled "Dolphin Tale" in 2011. After a trip the the museum, your family can rent the movie and learn even more about Winter!
