  • Best spot on the beach!

"I wanted to thank you for the amazing stay at your 15 A cottage. It was spectacular! I had everything I needed, it was so clean and cozy and so close to the beach. Perfection! Definitely my favorite vacation rental by far!"

  • Not the studio we rented, but apparently upgraded to larger quarters!

"The unit in the photo online was not the one we were given, we were surprised to learn on arrival...we were upgraded to a one bedroom cottage with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, very nice and much more roomy than we expected to have. We had everything we needed, and used the laundry to bleach the towels, which had orangy/reddish spots we were a little leary of, but even after bleaching they remained, so we were ok with that...The cottage was clean, except for the window in the shower, so we left the blinds open on parting, so the maid would see it. The bed was comfortable and clean...if you like the thick and firm pillows, you'll be fine, or you should bring your favorite pillow if you prefer soft...I bought a new one. Oh, there was a courtyard to navigate to get to the cottage behind the others, and it was not lit at night...when we arrived at about 11pm, we had to unload the car and make our way in the dark to our entrance in the back. I suggest better lighting in that courtyard. Now, remember I am not reviewing the unit pictured and described here..I can't find the actual unit we had...but my daughter and I did enjoy our stay...Thanks for the upgrade! We spend our days exploring nature preserves, weather permitting...We went to Fort DeSoto, Boyd Hill, Walsingham, Boca Ciago, Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island. We still had time to take in a movie and do a little shopping on a rainy day..One day after hours of birding, we returned to the beach, tired and thirsty, we ducked into a "dive" for a drink, and had a great salad with seasoned shrimp that was delicious...So if you want a good meal close to the pier and beach, look for the Beach Fyre Grill...friendly service, and big screen (we watched part of a bowl game and chatted with a local)...it was a very nice experience. We had a great trip, overall..."

  • Incredible!!

"Don't know where to start! From the start, the House Manager, Bob, was an incredible help. He made sure all accommodations were to our liking, he even called mid week to be sure all was well. From the second we drove up in the drive way, we knew we were "home". The photos were exactly as the house was, PERFECT. Beautiful appointed rooms, well stocked kitchen and beautiful outdoor living area. Being so close to the ocean was a blessing. The perfect vacation!!"
