  • Beautiful!!

"What a beautiful house. We had such a great time! Every morning and evening were spent on the screen porch enjoying the solitude. The dolphins and manatees playing in the canal in the backyard were a plus. I will definitely be back!! This is a great house in the prettiest area of Florida!!"

  • Comfortable, Friendly and On the Water

"My husband and I got married on a Saturday and headed here for our short trip around Florida as a mini-moon. We stayed here for 5 nights, after extending our stay an additional night. It was great, to say the least. Here's what to expect: The rental is a town home that is connected to three other units. One of the units has a yearlong resident, a couple who are kind, hospitable and happy to tell you about the area. The town homes are a bit old, but complete with everything you need - two bedrooms, one and a half baths, a little back patio and a little kitchen you can cook and make coffee in. We and our two dogs were comfortable, and grateful to be able to wake up and walk right into a shared backyard to let the dogs run around and look at the waterway that leads directly to Crystal River and Three Sisters Springs. Here's What to Do: Get in, unpack, turn the A/C on. Open the back door and have a drink on your little back patio. If anyone else is staying in the other homes, say hi. This is literally the friendliest place in the world, so get used to saying hi to strangers. Definitely take out the kayaks - it was the main reason I booked the place - and well worth it. One of the boats from town home 4 has a scrape in the keel that is letting in water, so just make sure you drain it after each use. Otherwise it will be too heavy to deal with. The springs are incredible and the river and bay area are beautiful. We borrowed one life jacket from the laundry room (there are many in case you didn't bring any) - and left 4 noodles if you have kids (or use them as adults!). Use them to float around and wait for manatees. Overall, it was relaxing and beautiful. The landlord is friendly and accommodating, just as is everyone in Crystal River."

  • Nature Coast Fun

"If you enjoy the outdoors, this house has tons of great activities nearby: snorkeling with manatees, cave diving, horseback riding, fishing, hiking/birding trails, cycling. The house is exactly as advertised and is located in a nice, quiet community. Restaurants and groceries are just a short drive away. The owner was responsive to my questions about the area and the amenities provided within the home. I only wish I could have stayed longer!"
