"This home was perfect for our family vacation. We had more than enough space for the kids to play. It was clean and well stocked with household needs. Everyone loved the pool area and the sitting area around it. Ready to book for next year!!!"

  • Beautiful!

"The pictures really don't do this place justice! It is so much nicer than what we were expecting. The rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean and the beds were comfortable. There were lots of extras ready for use if needed- towels, sheets, blankets. Even the bathrooms were stocked with travel sized soap, shampoo, razors, deodorant, toothpaste and mouthwash. The kitchen was well stocked and even had some basic spices. Nice flat screen TVs in both bedrooms and a big flat screen in the family room. I appreciated the lay out also- the bedrooms are in the back of the unit so you don't hear any sound from others using the pool at night and the bedrooms are separated by bathrooms and closets so you don't even hear sounds from the other bedroom. If you happen to be staying while the upstairs unit is rented be prepared to hear every footstep. Just something you deal with. We loved being able to walk right down the spiral staircase to the pool and beach from our balcony- we much preferred the convenience of this rather than having to walk to the back of the apartment, down the stairs and through the garage to get to the pool as the 2 units on the top have to do. We could comfortably sit on the balcony to watch the kiddos in the pool. The pool and surrounding area were beautiful! It would definitely be ideal to have the place to yourself or maybe just share with one other unit (not sure peak season would be too great). We realized this after the 1st 2 days when new renters came to stay in the unit above us. When the 4 of them came to the pool area it was a little uncomfortable just bc the area is on the smaller side. Of course, it still beats sharing a pool with 100 other people and you can always just walk down to the beach! Also, if you are traveling with another family the unit has a double door that opens to the next door unit and I think the balcony wall also rolls up- perfect for 2 families! Overall, we would love to stay here again if we decide to come back to this area- we spent a few nights at Disney and then drove the short distance (about 90 minutes) to this place (with a quick stop to see Winter the dolphin on the way). It's a nice quiet stretch of beach. Lots of small shells all over in the sand. This is not the place to collect big showy shells- just little ones but lots of them! We were lucky enough to see a few dolphins on 2 separate days! They were really close also- super cool! Donuts across the street are awesome."

  • Beach Wonderland

"Our family stayed here for 2 weeks. Every day was a great beach day with the private beach right there. The condo was extremely clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Parking very convenient, grounds and pool impeccable. Daily visits from dolphins, stingrays and other acrobatic sea friends. Very close to many restaurants, shopping and attractions. We can't wait to go back."

  • Life Changing

"Exactly as advertised. This beautiful home has an astonishing view and is conveniently located. The owner is exceptionally easy to work with and makes it easy to be a renter : both before and during the stay. I would not hesitate a moment before renting the property again, or to recommend it to someone I know. It is an absolute gem."

Gulfport Travel Tips

Relax and Have a Real Vacation at Gulfport Vacation Rentals

When you go on vacation, you want to come home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. With Gulfport condos and vacation homes, you can get the relaxation you need by avoiding crowded hotel rooms. Avoid the stress that comes with only one bathroom and no place to really relax. Spend time with your family in a place where you can really spread out.

Find that Relaxation at Gulfport, Florida

Gulfport is a suburb of St. Petersburg and retains that small-town feel. Away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger city of St. Petersburg, you'll be able to relax, whether on the beach or walking around looking at the unique shops in downtown Gulfport. Gulfport has trolleys that can take you around town. There are two trolleys; the blue one with flamingos will take you to St. Pete Beach, while the red and green one can take you around town—and it's free!

What to Do near Your Gulfport Vacation Rental

While in Gulfport, check out the Gulfport Casino Ballroom near the waterfront. The name might fool you, because there isn't any gambling here; instead, dance events are held here that include swing, salsa, tango, and ballroom dances. The building has 5,000 square feet and features an authentic 1930s dance floor. Of course, a night on the town isn't complete without some local cuisine. One popular restaurant in Gulfport is La Fagota Churrascaria, a Brazilian restaurant. Another restaurant you might want to try is Backfin Blue Cafe, which features mostly seafood, and the crab cakes are said to be especially good.

If you're into nature, you might want to check out Clam Bayou Nature Park, a 10-acre park near Central West waterfront rentals that has many beautiful nature trails to walk and might just allow you to get a glimpse of a manatee, dolphin, water birds, and more.
