"Perfect location, the bikes were great to cycle to the various restaurants and bars. Used the kayaks which was a lovely way to get around. The house has everything you could possibly need for a great vacation.
Spent a half day with Captain Jim Long would highly recommend a fishing charter for both experienced and total non fishermen was great fun. Will be back loved the old time theme that Homosassa offers."

"This was our second stay at the Fishbowl. First was in November second time September for Labor Day weekend. Two different times of year and different experiences both great. This time way less Manatees but both my kids 11, and 15 had a great time. My youngest caught a 28" Snook right from the dock in the backyard. Kayaking and swimming in the springs right at the end of the canal. The house location and kayaks are a big plus. This is a small older Florida house and that's all you need if you are outdoors loving people. Beds are comfortable and its equipped well. Nothing fancy but that's why your here. Real FLA nature and fun."

"We rented this townhome for the month of April 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed it. We brought our boat because of the river and the docking facilities and used it for recreation and swimming with the Manatee's, about 1.5 miles up to the spring entrance. My wife swam with 4 adult manatees and we were excited about seeing a mother with her tiny newborn. We explored numerous natural spring parks in a 50 mile radius swimming in all of them and enjoying the natural habitat. George & Peggy were great in helping make the experience happen and there were no surprises! The complex was quiet, the big oak tree was restful, and the tenants very friendly. Would recommend the opportunity here. We even visited Weekie Wachie Springs where the mermaids swim."
