  • Relaxing escape!

"I would highly recommend the Daydream cottage to anyone looking for a Florida experience different than going to the beach everyday. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We felt welcome as if it was our own vacation home. The first night we arrived, several dolphins swam by the deck and another a couple of days later. We also saw two manatees, a mom and calf. Renting a kayak and visiting Three Sister's springs is a must. I would love to visit again in the winter when the area is full of manatees! Make sure you get your fish and mullet dip from Shelleys and definitely go to Neon Leon's. Thanks so much for a wonderful vacation!"

  • Felt Right at Home!

"We went to visit family that lives in the neighborhood and decided that having our own place to stay would be better than sleeping on airbeds. The house was fantastic. It is so well furnished with everything you need that you feel like you're at home! We went shopping at the local grocery store and were able to cook almost all of our meals. The pool is great and Amy even put up the child fence for us. The bedrooms are large and comfy, bathrooms are beautiful, and the living room has a large flat screen with surround sound. This area has a lot of really neat things to do and the location of the house was perfect. We went to Wickee Watchi for the mermaid show, the animal park, the beach at Pine Island, and I played golf at a couple of great courses. We are already looking at dates to go again."

  • Another great vacation

"Our fourth visit to Sue and Alan's villa and, as always, it has not disappointed. This is now like a home from home for us - so comfortable and well equipped. Despite some inclement weather (4 inches of rain one day!) we had a wonderful time and played lots of golf. In past years we have been nervous of eating at The Freezer in Old Homosassa but only now realise what we have missed. It's very casual with an extremely limited menu but if you want wonderful seafood, this is the place. The steamed shrimp are to die for - you order at the bar and clear your own table but it's all worth it. All in all another great holiday."

  • Wonderful time

"We stayed at this property for 3 nights in July and had a great time. We were 2 families - (4 adults and 5 kids) and with all the beds (3) and futons (3), there was plenty of room for all of us. Nice spacious kitchen that had everything we needed. We grilled one night and ate under the shelter which was nice. We saw a dolphin swim right by the dock and the kids were thrilled. We rented pontoon boats from McRaes and River Safari and both are very close to this property. There are stairs from the living area to the front door - so if you have a toddler or an infant check with Don for a child gate or bring your own. We didn't have one - but they were very accommodating in providing us with a makeshift one. We still had to watch our 15 month old though any time he was close to it."
