Cozy beach cottage
"The cottage was exactly as pictured on VRBO. It was a very short walk to the beach(2 minutes) clean, cozy, just perfect. There were restaurants within walking distance and best of all the property is pet friendly so we were able to bring both of our dogs with us. The owners, Shirley and John were very helpful, friendly, and just a phone call away. We had a wonderful time staying in their cottage!"

"What a great place. Sweet Monroe Retreat was perfect for our stay. Our unit was SO clean, everything you need is in the unit, very quiet and just right. The entire place is fenced in so our little dog had a blast. Location was close to everything. We walked to the beach everyday, restaurants, we rented bikes. I even walked to get my nails done. Could not have picked a better place. We loved it and will be back every year for sure. Thanks for making our vacation exactly what we needed."

"My husband and I stayed at Sand Isle with our 2 year old son. The condo is spacious and very comfortable. The furniture has been updated from what is shown in the pictures including a king size bed in the master and a full size bunk bed in the spare. we did more cooking then eating out, so having a full kitchen and gas grill was a major plus. The restaurants we did check out were Guppys (great food!) and The Pub (food just ok but the views were amazing!). We rented a car but didn't really drive it as most everything is in walking distance. There is a lot of traffic though along Gulf Blvd. Pool is small but is a fair trade off for staying in a private, quiet complex. Best part of the stay was truly the ocean front view! We were in early most nights with a 2 year old so spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony overlooking the sunset. Even saw some Dolphins! We will definitely return!"

"We traveled during the low season and had a fantastic time. This condo has everything you need and the layout is great. We had four adults and two children (ages 14 & 11) and had plenty of space. The area is very quiet and residential feeling versus the hustle and bustle of Clearwater which is only 4 miles up the road. It was great having the outdoor kitchen and pool table, we did a lot of take out and ate lunch/dinner at the picnic table by the pool. Beware-we did have some kids in the middle of the night steal our beer so be careful what you leave in there overnight! The Kooky coconut was in walking distance to get take out. We also found a small restaurant named jake's cantina that had the best shrimp tacos. The beach was gorgeous and the pool was nicely heated. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing vacation! Thanks Mary Jo!"
