  • Location! Location! Location!

"This condo has the best location ever! About 75 feet from the Gulf of Mexico on one side and 75 feet from the Intracoastal on the other side. Fishing was great fun! The Gulf beaches are always the best and Indian Shores is no exception. The photos did not do this unit justice. It is clean and bright and has everything you need. Grocery shopping is not too far away and there are many restaurants nearby. The closest mini golf is only about 1/2 a block away. The laundry room is really small, but there is a laundromat close by, if you need that sort of thing. I would recommend this property to my friends and realtives (as long as they aren't planning to go when I go. I get dibs on this place!) I hope to vacation here again next year."

  • Fourth of July Family Vacation

"Older home that is well maintained, well-stocked and very clean. At first glance we were nervous about the window air conditioners and wood paneling walls, however the house was perfect! The window air conditioners kept the home cool and the wood paneling walls add character that is hard to find these days. Our 5 kids loved the beach and the private access. There was nobody around us and we had a blast dominating the private beach on a holiday weekend. The house had towels, toys, and chairs for everything beach-fun! Because we have 5 kids, we did have to purchase some additional toys for everyone. There were several "left behind" bottles of toiletries, spices, cleaning supplies, etc... in case you forget something (convenient if you need something last minute). We did have to buy toilet paper before our week ended but CVS was close by, so no worries. The kitchen was updated and newly renovated. The living room furniture was a little worn but comfortable. The bedrooms have their own A/C units and could be adjusted. There was 1 bedroom and bath on the first level, and 3 bedrooms, 1 bath upstairs. We knew the 2 bathrooms might be a stretch for our family of 7 but we managed. I would recommend getting up a little early and walking to The Lighthouse bakery for fresh doughnuts...yummy! Scooter, bike and boat rental was just a quick walk across the street. Restaurants were nearby (we drove but you could walk). The neighborhood (street) was quaint and friendly. We never left the house on The 4th and could watch more than 15 different firework displays...GORGEOUS and MEMORABLE!! I gave it 4 stars because the house was a little older and there were some small inconveniences like: no A/C in the bathrooms and it got hot (but you could open the window), the paddle boat that was offered did not work, the canoe was unusable, and the laundry room did not connect from inside the house. I would stay again because it was priced right, and the kids had a blast and didn't notice the small issues."

  • Gulfshores Townhome

"This is the perfect place for us. We like being right on the beach with swimming in the Gulf and walks at the water’s edge just past the gate to the pool area. We were greeted with dolphin sightings within minutes of arriving and enjoyed watching pelicans, cormorants, and humans fishing in the surf all month. Tampa, St. Pete, Sarasota are all in easy reach as are more great restaurants than we had time for. Best of all is the constant, soothing sound of the surf. We will be back next year."

  • Feb. Getaway

"We had a wonderful month long vacation here at Indian Shores. Our condo was exactly as it was described with everything you need. It has a real community feeling. The weather was mostly very comfortable with only a few cool days. Our realtor was very informative and everything we needed was at the condo. There are plenty of restaurants within a short drive and you can walk forever on the beach."
