  • Beach Girls Getaway

"We love the condo! It has everything anyone could want. Plenty of room, very clean, a wonderful balcony to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning while watching the beautiful Gulf! The oceanfront pool is great, too. The grounds are beautiful. Very well kept. The clear water of the Gulf is just wonderful. We love walking across the street to eat at the Pub. There are really nice restaurants close by. Lots of things to do in the area, too. We love going to John's Pass and Tarpin Springs. We are already talking about staying here again next year!! One of the nicest places we have stayed!"

"Have a lot of mixed feelings about this property after spending a week here. First off, the location is great....right on beach, water is steps from the back door. Unit was clean and ready when we arrived. However, it is located in BELLEAIR BEACH....not sure why listed on VRBO as INDIAN SHORES/INDIAN BEACH which is several miles south. House is older (70's vintage), mostly in good shape but could use some work. Kitchen fully eqipped....except for fact that none of the available plates/dishes/bowls are microwave safe. Had to buy paper plates and bowls from local grocery so could heat/warm/reheat in the microwave. Lots of beach chairs, beach towels and beach toys though which was nice. Had to contact the owner for a few ques, she was very easily accesible and responsive to our needs. Listing of sleeping arrangements somewhat misleading....would not consider a worn mattress simply slid underneath a bunk bed as a "trundle bed". That bedroom was quite small, the other two were quite adequate. Poor feedback from owner about location of necessities like grocery store and coffee shop....asked very specific ques, got very vague and pretty much useless reply. Confusing array of electronic components (TV, DVD, DVR/cable) with no instructions on how to use or how all components interfaced....simple sheet of basic operating instructions would have been nice. Lastly, arriving at night found the unit completely in the dark....porch light not turned on, all inside lights off, luckily smart phones have flashlight feature. An OK stay, doubt we'd return, too many other nicer beachfront units in area for same or lower price."

  • Second time at this condo just as good as the first

"This was our second stay at this condo and we loved it as much as the first time. The owners had made some nice improvements such as a new wall mounted flat screen TV that allows room for some clever storage in the living area. There is everything you need here including a well stocked kitchen, a spacious shower and very comfortable beds. The play station was well appreciated by my nephew who was staying in a different unit but would pop in to have a play! The pool area is so nice and according to signs put up whilst we were there, the pool area and grounds are to be updated soon. A perfectly situated accommodation. The rates are so reasonable and the owner, Dawn, makes the booking process effortless. We also found Dawn and the housekeeper to be so helpful when we encountered a couple of small snags (not even worth a mention other than to praise them for the excellent service provided). Thank you! We love it here and hope to return again in the future."

  • DM Kingston ON

"Second time here. Was here same time last year. Weather great! Condo has been upgraded from last year. Looks fresh and new! New TV. Very clean and well kept with wonderful water views of both the intracostal and the Gulf of Mexico. Will return for sure! Lots to do! Trolley goes along Gulf Blvd. from Clearwater to Passe a Grille, so a car not necessary. There is also a shuttle from Tampa Airport."
