"This was a great location for a variety of vacation experiences: beach time, shopping, reading and relaxation and wonderful dining. Just across the street is the vibe of John's Pass and just behind is the quiet Intracoastal Waterway. We enjoyed the daily visits of birdlife - even the knocking on the back door if we were not up yet to greet them by the pool. This is an older but well-loved property. Everything we needed was in the cottage - the kitchen was well stocked with anything needed to cook and dine - we were very close to a Publix for food supplies - New TV, new refrigerator and a washer and dryer. We were college friends so one slept in the bedroom and the other on the futon in the living area. We shopped the Pass and power shopped the huge Mall in Ellenton - an easy drive. We also enjoyed the beach, which is a very easy and short walk from the cottage. Private parking was right at the door. This is a positive at the Pass. The on-sight manager, Bonnie, is wonderful. She was very helpful and we enjoyed getting to know her. She even got up at 4:30 am to tell us goodbye as we left for an early flight."

"We spent our Christmas here and had a wonderful time. The unit is very spacious and provided plenty of privacy when our son and girlfriend stopped in for a couple of nights. The master bedroom is large with a comfortable bed, couch and amazing view. The second bedroom is also spacious, but the beds are not the newest. Some of the things in the unit are worn and I'm sure will be upgraded as time goes on. The VIEW, location, rate, Barbara's kindness and allowing a pet more than compensated for any shortcomings. The pool was heated enough for even two Floridians to enjoy in December. We planned on doing some things in Downtown St. Pete, but we were so content with everything in the vicinity, we never left except to go to Publix. We would most definitely stay here again. We are now huge fans of Madeira Beach."

Super location, all you need in classic Florida cottage
"Step out the door and onto our favorite part of Madeira Beach a few blocks from John's Pass. Sweet cottage on one level, open floor plan, outdoor deck, laundry facility, patio facing dunes and ocean. Quiet. Convenient. Owners friendly and helpful. Kitchen fully outfitted. Nice wood floors, lots of windows, closets and dressers. Beach towels, chairs, toys. Grill. Really comfortable. A bit worn and closets (linens, kitchen, junk) not terribly organized. We quickly settled in and figured things out. Not much privacy as both bedrooms are somewhat open to public spaces. This is not a place for luxury but more like a family camp right on the beach. We loved it and plan to return. Can't beat the location and the amount of interior and exterior space."

"Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay here, the beach was beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the condo was so easy to get in to. Wonderful location if you like low key, Johns Pass was a mile one way and Clear Water was 12 miles the other, this is in the middle so a little quieter which is what we wanted. There is one gal that lives in unit that came down to tell us our kids were being too loud in the pool...which kids, well everyone actually is usually a little louder at a pool, but we knew this was off season for kids so we actually made sure they weren't screaming etc...so not sure on the complaint. Other than that, we met some wonderful people, seen dolphins the first night and last day right out in front of us, and at John's pass. Collected some seashells and made some wonderful family memories! The amenities were perfect, every major appliance one could ask for! We loved the set up in the living room and someday hope to make it back. Thank you!!"
