"This rental was a good fit for my family. We were traveling with many sub-families with small children. The amenities provided were fantastic. They had cribs, high chairs, porta cribs, strollers and an enclosed deck.
That being said the privacy issue could be a concern for couples. The open floor plan leaves one somewhat exposed. We did manage to close off one bedroom in the basement of house 2. This gave us three PRIVATE bedrooms. The twin bedrooms have doors, but share space with the loft bedrooms and bathrooms in both houses. As we were traveling with both couples, singles and children this worked very well for us.
I cannot say enough about the private location and beach view with the sunset every night. Beautiful. We used the pool every day and the hot tub at night. The heater was almost too hot.
The homes were equipt with everything in the kitchen that you could need. I was really impressed that they had stock items like olive oil, spices, coffee filters, salt and pepper. Most of the rentals I've used in the past are completely cleaned out. The fact that this rental supplied garbage bags, toilet paper, dish soap and dish washer tabs was a classy touch. I recommend if you rent this place taking a look at what's provided before you make your shopping list.
The outside amenities included a ton of beach toys, floats, noodles, beach chairs and beach towels. These were top of the line items. Built for lasting durability.
The beds were fantastic with fine linens and very comfortable. My grandson told me it was the best bed he has ever been in. The bath towels and complimentary lotions and shampoos were a nice touch.
Redington shores is a small local community in between Clearwater and Saint Petersburg. There are plenty of things to do around in this area. It was nice to have a quiet place to stay. That said, there were plenty of shop, bars and Resturants with in walking distance.
We really enjoyed our stay there. The homes were clean upon arrival and I had direct contact with our rental agent and greeter. They even brought us extra supplies during the week we were there.
Lastly as most real estate agents would say, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. This was a 5 star location for my family and a 5 star vacation. Thanks so much Liz and the team that makes this an a+ experience."

"We had a perfect week in this condo. The condo is located on a beautiful part of Redington, just steps from the beach. The first floor location of the condo is so convenient! The condo was immaculately clean when we arrived, and very well equipped. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, especially the king bed. Great place to enjoy a relaxing getaway!"

"My husband had to work in the area for a couple of weeks, and after extensive online searching, we chose to stay at Misty Isles. Jay accommodated our last minute reservation, and what a great choice we made to stay there! Right on the beach! Waking up to the view of the sand and the surf every morning was heavenly. We walked on the beach every day and enjoyed amazing beach sunsets every night! Compared to other beaches in the area, the white sand in front of Misty Isles is expansive and quite private. Much less beach traffic than surrounding areas. Unless you're talking about the birds! There are plenty of seabirds, and we even saw dolphins a few times! There are great restaurants withing walking distance, and you can even walk to the Seabird Sanctuary which was a great place to visit. The unit we stayed in was roomy, and had all the amenities of home. We cooked some meals in, grilled out on the patio, or walked to a restaurant for some great local seafood. Can't wait for my next visit!"

"Just finished our first stay at the Beach Cottage & it was a GREAT experience.
The owner (Natalie) was great in answering any of our questions prior to booking, confirming deposits & payments were received, and overall making sure we were please before, during & after our stay. We had info & menus in a nice basket on the table when we arrived. It was very reassuring that she was so accessible if we needed her.
The Cottage itself is in a great location. The beach is literally about 50 yards from the front door! The neighborhood is very quiet & safe. My wife & daughter stayed in one night & relaxed while my son & I went to a Rays game. They felt totally safe here. Tampa, Clearwater, etc. are all about a 20-30 minute drive away. The Tampa City Pass is great if you have kids as you get tickets to 5 attractions for $100/person. If you go to at least 2 of them, you end up saving big $. Fabulous dining- Seaside (5 min walk) had delicious food (loved the lobster tacos and live music on the patio). The Conch (5 min drive) lived up to all the hype on this website. Hands down the best meal of our entire trip. Everything from the fritters, to the coconut shrimp had the "Wow factor". For breakfast the Friendly Bar (5 min walk) had awesome breakfast sandwiches and portions were huge. For dessert I'd suggest the Candy Kitchen (also 5 min walk) for homemade ice cream and some cool retro candy. For a day of shopping, the John's Pass Boardwalk area was only 10 minutes away. Lots of shops and dining in that area.
Now lets talk about the house & beach. The house was so clean and bright & is exactly as you see it in the pictures. Big, comfy L-shaped couch, TV's in both bedrooms, very comfortable beds - it felt like home the entire week. Having a laundry was nice as we could pack less & always have fresh beach towels. Kitchen was fully stocked - all utensils, small appliances were there for us. The back patio gave us a place to sit out in the sun, relax and grill up a nice dinner. The Cottage has a handy beach wagon, umbrellas, chairs, small cooler a big beach bag - everything for a fun beach day was there for us! Afterwards the outdoor shower helped wash away the sand and quickly cool off. The beach was gorgeous. Soft sand, not busy (pretty much locals), dolphins swimming by, and sunsets you could put on a postcard. The owner + location + beach + quality of this location = the perfect place for our family. I can see why so many come back. We will likely be one of those too!"
