  • A lovely home away from home

"The nicest vrbo home we have ever stayed in, a lot for the money - comfortably accommodates 7, homey bungalow yet ceramic tile gives a feeling of clean with every amenity one could imagine (read other reviews) and within a block of the Pinellas Trail. We rode miles every day once we figured out to go north instead of south. No need to seek out a bird sanctuary; the birds come daily to the yard and can be observed through the screened sunroom. We want to thank the neighbor (who also clued us in on driving through Walgreen's parking lot to go north on 19 Alternate, Bayshore Blvd) for alerting us or we might have been surprised by the blue heron and his feathery friends. Within walking distance of Walgreen's, Publix, a Dollar General and a thrift shop. Quiet neighborhood within easy driving distance of the Causeway, Honeymoon Island Park, and about 7 miles from Clearwater Beach. However, we preferred Sunset Beach in Tarpon Springs - no charge, fewer people, cabanas, grills, a small beach and also about 7 miles from the house though in the opposite direction. Our kids from Montana loved the area so much that they are seriously considering moving to the Dunedin area. The Trade Winds property definitely exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended."

  • First time in Florida...

"We really enjoyed our time in March. The unit was very clean & was as pictured but best of all, was only steps from the Gulf shore. We had use of the heated pool just outside our unit when the wind chopped up the beach. Our family joined us for March break week & there was plenty of room. We used the Sunshine Bus or the Jolly Trolly to get around from home to Clearwater & along the coast. Restaurants, CVS, the library, parks & festivals were within walking distance. The wonderful sunsets (& sunrises) could be seen from our balcony. Anything minor that required fixing was done promptly. The grandkids enjoyed the "dolphin" room as we saw "Winter" while they were here. We would definitely recommend this 'home away from home'. Thank you Sue for sharing your home with us."

  • Dream Location

"We recently were fortunate enough to stay for a week in this lovely vacation home. The location is perfect! It is sitting in a very quiet neighborhood that is so peaceful and relaxing right on the Bay. From the dock in the back yard we saw dolphin, manatee, and sting rays. One day we rented a boat and drove it right up to the dock! The house is very spacious and well designed. The owner was very accomodating and attentive to any needs we had. Would LOVE to have this house myself! About 3 min. to many beach access points, delicious, restaurants, and shopping. This was an amazing vacation and a wonderful vacation home. We would love to come back again!"

Seminole Travel Tips

Seminole Vacation Rentals

Compared to most cities across the United States, Seminole, Florida is considered young, having become an official city in only 1970. Its young age doesn't mean that there isn't a plethora of ways to enjoy vacationing in one of the private homes or condos in the area. Seminole vacation rentals give you an array of options for accommodations. Seminole's position along the Florida West Coast means you could catch a glimpse of the Gulf of Mexico from the comfort of West Florida waterfront rentals. Don't hesitate to check the availability of Seminole beach homes for rent, as well. These vacation options are cozy alternatives to less comfortable hotel rooms.

Trade a Guest Room for a West Florida Waterfront Rentals

If you could trade a one-room hotel room for an entire house and actually save money, would you consider it? Maybe the question is why wouldn't you? Seminole vacation rental properties include private single-family homes, apartments, town homes and condominiums that can be affordably rented by the night, the week or the month. You may be able to pay the same or less for an entire house than you could for a hotel room. Moreover, imagine the money you can save on meals since rentals come with full kitchens to meet almost any culinary need.

Seminole Makes You Feel Like a Neighbor

The welcoming residents and small-town feel of Seminole make visitors feel more like a resident than a tourist from a distant land. Take a drive or stroll by the infamous Seminole water tower, which was painted by a local resident and caused quite a controversy over the design. With Largo and St. Petersburg as neighbors, you have a short commute to these two larger cities and the activities they offer, or you can kick back in Seminole, enjoy the great outdoors, frolic in the Gulf and rest in your comfortable Seminole vacation rental home.
