  • Girls Trip

"My friends and I stayed here for a week and we were all very happy with this condo. The décor is really nice and it was exceptionally clean. The owner was great to deal with and always responded promptly to any questions I had. The price was great, kitchen was stocked with nice quality dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. The pool is literally steps from this condo and the view is fantastic. The entire complex is very nice and has great security. Our weather was perfect the entire week and we can't wait to go back. Would definitely recommend this property."

  • A peaceful, relaxing month

"What a wonderful vacation spot! We spent most of the time either on the enclosed porch or sitting on the patio down near the lake watching people in their boats fishing or just cruising the lake. A Bald Eagle and a Horned Owl were frequent visitors to the shady, moss laden oak trees. We did not have an opportunity to visit the Kumquat grove or the gift shop, but did have a slice of delicious Kumquat pie purchased at a nearby store. Sure wish I could have brought some of that home with me! Hopefully we will be able to return next spring for a longer visit."

  • Fantastic!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Clearwater, FL with our family of 4 and our stay in Ally's home. We had a large, pretty house to stay in and we all had our own rooms. We enjoyed having so much space as well as convenient inside laundry, 2 bathrooms and a full size kitchen. My kids fought over who got to hang out in the living room chaise lounge! The location was right by the Phillies stadium, many plazas and restaurants and also was a straight shot to the beautiful, family friendly Clearwater beach. We were also able to bring our small dog, Chrissy, so we were happy to have her with us. Our baseball enthusiastic 9 year old loved walking the dog in the safe neighborhood and watching the baseball fields of a private high school practice and play baseball up the street. It was an added bonus! We will be happy to return."

  • Wonderful Pool, Patio, Deck and Hospitality

"The owners of this home are fine hosts and very responsive. Outdoors, the recently-added pool and patio complex is a wonderful addition to this historic property. An egret named Max drops by now and then to see what tidbit you've got to share. This can be great fun (or you can ignore Max). The lot is wide and spacious, with a gigantic Banyon tree and lovely tropical plantings. A new grapefruit tree may provide fruit in winter, and a lime tree provides fresh limes in season. A covered outdoor deck protects you from afternoon rains. Both the lawn and pool are serviced, although you may want to skim the pool or clear the patio with a provided blower now and then. The location is minutes south of downtown and St. Pete's fab restaurants, museums, shops, nightlife and Bay-side activities. You are just 15 minutes from St. Pete Beach and the Don Cesar Resort. Summer baseball fans can enjoy the Tampa Bay Rays, not 10 minutes away. Or if football is your passion, you can head into Tampa for a Buccaneers game. Inside the home are two living areas, a dining area, two baths and three queen bedrooms. We were pleased with the quantity of sheets and towels provided, as well as a washer and dryer. The wireless works great; just reboot if it blanks out after an electrical storm. The owners' house notes provide a fine overview of things to do. Read them closely. One favorite suggestion was Maximo Seafood, about 10 minutes west. This was a fun place to buy fresh fish and join the regulars for a beer. Also, don't miss the sunsets at Hurricane, PassAGrille. We grilled outside most nights (good grill!), but we also cooked in the very well-equipped, small kitchen. You will need spices, soaps, plastic bags, TP, etc. A Publix grocery is about 5-10 minutes west, or you can shop at the downtown Publix. A CVS drugstore is within 2 minutes. Bahama Shores is a 1950s neighborhood right on Tampa Bay. With its red-brick boulevard, it is a lovely place to walk your pets. There is a tiny park for residents and guests, and you can stroll the walkway of a nearby retirement community directly along the bay. The neighbors are friendly, so you feel at home. This older house admittedly has a few quirks, but the interior decor is appealing and renovations continue, such as newly refinished floors. Any problems you have, the owners will quickly handle. The home is clean when you arrive, and a cleaning lady is available if you want to hire one. All in all, this is a fine rental in this area."
