"My family goes away together for the Memorial Day Weekend, we usually go to the beach at a condo. We were at this house for 2 hours and my kids said they want to come back to the river next year!!! Our party consisted of 5 adults and 2 small children and there was plenty for all of us to do. We had the river front and our own pool! The house was great and accommodated all of us very well. There was everything we needed there. It was also a plus that Meg is pet accommodating, my daughter got to bring her dog with us, the yard is fenced in so we had no worries about the dog getting out! The pool was great it was nice to have it all to ourselves, not like at the condo!!! There are pool noodles there and a few floats to use. The yard was very big and we had brought our corn hole game with us and there was plenty of room to play. We took the kayaks out and saw manatees, and we even saw manatees from the dock. The house has a screened in porch and I would get up and have my morning tea on the porch and enjoy the quiet of the river. One morning the dog even let us know there was a river otter on the dock! Oh yeah and don't forget the pool table downstairs!!! I would highly recommend this VRBO! Thanks Meg for sharing your house with us!!"

"This home is a treasure in Weeki Wachee. The location is great, right on the river and on the other side of the bridge is a kayak/canoe/paddleboard rental. The water is crystal clear and always a refreshing 74 degrees. We tried to paddle to the Weeki Wachee springs park, but after paddling 2 hours upstream, about 3 miles, we decided to float back with the current, which takes about a third of the time and a lot less effort. Turns out with all the turns, the springs is about a 5 mile paddle, haven't trained enough for that yet. The drive to the park and nearby stores (Publix, Winn Dixie, Home Depot) is indeed barely 10 minutes. Don't forget to stop by one of the produce stands.
The house is roomy and beautiful with a great porch which sheltered us well from the afternoon showers. The kitchen offers all amenities and is well stocked with pots and flatware. A true home away from home.
We will definitely return to this home, this was our most relaxing vacation in a long time!"

"This is a beautiful home in a quiet community. You can walk in and feel right at home. We really enjoyed our stay here. We love to golf and there is a course just outside the gates of this lovely gated community. We felt safe and it was very quiet. The clubhouse and pool are beautiful also. It was an awesome vacation spot for us."
