"I am always leery about doing business over the internet with people I don't know, but I have to say this was one of the most exceptional vacation experiences of my life and in great part, that was due to the terrific owner, Rick. He was just so nice and so eager to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. He went above and beyond by leaving an extra special surprise for our 4 year old granddaughter who just completed a one year battle with kidney cancer - it just left me in tears!!! The house was absolutely immaculate when we arrived. And although you can tell from the pictures how beautifully decorated it is, it was much more spacious than I was expecting. We had 5 adults, a 4 year old and an infant and we never once felt cramped or on top of one another. The bedrooms are huge and we especially liked the beautiful roomy shower. Every single thing that we needed but forgot to pack, from sunscreen to coffee, was already there. There were massive amounts of clean towels and linens available for our use. We also really enjoyed the private backyard and patio - a perfect spot to relax with a cocktail after our busy days! It is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and Rick even provided a beach cart to help get all of the towels and toys to the beach with ease. It is walking distance to Sloppy Joe's, a great restaurant, an ice cream parlor and many other businesses. Treasure Island is a terrific vacation spot, both for families and for couples. Rick also provided tons of info on local restaurants and businesses since we are not familiar with the area. The Treasure Island Beach is beautiful - and not crowded or unruly. We were completely happy with this vacation spot and hope to be able to visit again. We give our enthusiastic recommendation to anyone considering a stay at this wonderful home."
