"We have rented many places on VRBO and have not been disappointed!! The condo had everything you could need from appliances to a cooler, umbrellas, boogie boards and rafts. Staying ON the beach was a big advantage as the kids (12 and 14) could go down after dinner and play sand volleyball while we stayed on the balcony and watched. The pool was a nice change from the salt water and the staff was incredibly helpful with check-in/out and even extra sun umbrellas. Madeira Beach is a quieter section of the strip but close to everything you could want. Johns Pass was a 25 minute walk or a 3 minute drive. Restaurants across the street had a local flair. Great place in a great location!"

"My family and I spent a week at Sea Ranch and were very satisfied! Our host was very accommodating and then some! The beautiful view of the canal in the backyard was very relaxing and serene. This property is HIGHLY recommended! DSC"

"First time visiting Madeira Beach but I hope it's not the last.
Wanted to post this review even though we haven't finished our stay yet.
This unit is very clean, well appointed and was perfect for our family.
Richard was a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with.
Really not too much to say against the place.
Comes with beach chairs (although a bit 'used' and beach umbrellas. (also a beach cart for carrying everything back and forth) The balcony is really large and has a nice side view of the Gulf (toward the inlet) and also of John's Pass.
Kitchen has everything we needed (and more) and the beds are very comfortable.
Building was in pretty decent shape (eleveators are a bit slow) and the location is great (right on the Gulf and across from John's Pass) Was told by a 14 year resident that they just had the place painted and the
parking area was just finished with brick pavers. Looks great!
Only issue (if you can call it that) was the toilet in the master bedroom is a bit close to the vanity (so if you are a bit on the larger size - may be a bit uncomfortable)
Would definitely stay here if we ever come down this way on vacation again."

"We enjoyed our stay. We did a lot of hiking and bird watching and visiting family, but it was so good to come back to the cottage and relax on the porch. The museum in Floral city was great for information on the local area itself . Also the rail trails were great for walking and biking. There are many restaurants in the area along rt41 and also at Inverness. The cottage and surrounding area was quiet and the owners very friendly. The weather was great too! Thanks for a great time. Mike and Sharon"
