  • Great for trip with group of friends

"Exactly as advertised the townhome really was a great place for our group to enjoy the sunny Florida keys. It has two master bedrooms that could sleep 2 couples and a fold out couch that we slept on for 2 weeks without ever wanting a different bed. We had an extra person in our group and the host was very accommodating and went out of his way to provide extra bedding. The kitchen is well equipped and the only thing we found missing (when cooking 3 meals a day for a group of 5 people) was a potato peeler and maybe a few more cooking pans. The dinning area is beautifully shaded by foliage and a very peaceful sunrise can be seen from the patios. There are three bathrooms (two with showers) and nice screened in patios. You are less than a minute walk to the pool, which we had to ourselves for the majority of the trip. The grounds are well kept and the central air conditioning was a big hit with the boys in our group as August was hot hot hot! We had plenty of space and were able to watch a movie as a group on the nicely sized tv and couches. You are a quick walk away from a convenience store, and only 10-15 minute drive away from the bank, hospital, grocery store, movie theater, dive shops etc. The evenings were quiet and there was plenty of space to park our cars as well as store our bags. The host was very quick to answer all of my questions and concerns and extremely accommodating. Considering the cost of hotels in the area, the value of this unit was a great find for our group and I would highly recommend renting from Victor as he is professional and caring."

  • Outstanding Vacation Home

"We recently booked a last minute stay at Paradise Found. The owners were fantastic, providing lots of useful information to make sure we got the most out of our stay. We took our 19' boat with us and were able to leave it tied up at the bottom of the garden for the entire week which was fantastic. The proximity to the Atlantic couldn't be better, with a short 200 yd boat ride into open ocean. From there it was a 5 min boat trip to a great fishing spot and shallow dive/snorkeling site with loads of lobster and yellowtail snapper. Alligator reef is only 6 miles away, another fantastic dive spot. The community of Islamorada is only 10 minutes up the road, with an abundance of restaurants and one of the best places in the Keys to watch the sunset. The house is spacious, with all the necessary amenities. The backyard had plenty of loungers around the pool and the fish cleaning station was invaluable for dealing with the catch and cleaning off all our diving gear. I totally recommend this property for a relaxing getaway in a superb location in the Florida Keys."

  • Wonderful experience

"The listing description was 100% accurate. Our stay was very comfortable . Very clean and well laid out! No problems with our rental. Owners offered great customer service and communication from the very first property inquiry to the refund of our security deposit. Grocery store was close by. Neighborhood was quiet. Lots of room for our boat at the dock and plenty of room for trailer storage. Ocean access was easy. Gas and bait was on the way out and the staff very friendly. I recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in or near Islamorada. Looking forward to next year!"

  • Sept 2014 Islamorada trip

"Had rented a property from Owner prior with good experience and this trip was no different. The property sits on bayside, just above the Channel 5 bridge. While it's just off Overseas Highway, there was very little road noise and easily accessible. The house and grounds were clean and well maintained. Spacious living area, an awesome screened porch and area to lounge outside made it very accommodating and comfortable. Water level and dockage more than accommodated our 30ft Century - we had to leave the trailer on the easement on the road, but there were no issues. Leaving the dock to go Oceanside, an easy 20-25 min run had us on some prime reef area for diving and fishing. For food/groceries, etc., a short 5 min back north was Bud n Mary's for bait and air fills, Lazy Days - one of the BEST hog snapper sammiches. Up a little further, the Trading Post, Islamorada Fish Company, etc. All easy access and no muss/fuss. A great, quiet, convenient place to relax for a week....and a very responsive Owner to questions, etc. We'll be back!"

Islamorada Area Travel Tips

Islamorada House Rentals are the Ultimate Way to Experience the Florida Keys

For lovers of water activities, the Florida Keys can't be beaten as a vacation spot. The Islamorada area in the lower Keys has some of the best sport fishing in the world, as well as snorkeling, scuba diving, boating and parasailing, all in an environment that averages 75-80 degrees year-round.

The best way to experience the Florida Keys are through Islamorada house rentals. Sure, you could stay in a hotel room, but why do that when you could enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast on the front porch of your private beachfront home? And after an exhilarating but tiring day on the water, you can come "home" to grill your catch and relax in peace and comfort. With Islamorada vacation rentals you CAN have it all!

Incredible Beaches

From your Islamorada beach rentals home venture out to explore the plethora of great beaches; the beach at Plantation Yacht Harbor boasts a nice and deep swimming area. There's great snorkeling at Islamorada County Park, where the beach runs along a natural creek. But watch out for the strong currents here, especially if you're traveling with children. For a cozy beach with a boardwalk, go to Anne's Beach on Lower Matecumbe Key. There are plenty more. Just ask any local to point you in the direction of a great beach.

Enjoy a Night on the Town

Many local restaurants will cook your catch; just because you're staying in Islamorada house rentals, it doesn't mean you have to cook. You're on vacation. Use your Islamorada beach rentals property for the convenience it brings to brew a cup of morning coffee or do a load of laundry without searching for a laundromat, then get the best of both worlds by dining out and partaking of the area's rich nightlife.
