  • Excellent Family Vacation

"Just like the description states..."ocean front retreat with overwhelming views of the Atlantic"! Perfect location. Private beach! Close to Lazy Days, Lorelei, Islamorada Fish Company, Robbies, the Trading Post for groceries, and Bud and Mary's Marina. We traveled with our 2 adult kids, their spouses, and our 15 month old grandson. The furniture, both inside and on the veranda, was very nice and comfortable. Great for lounging, reading, or taking a catnap. The huge doors that open from the living room to the veranda let the breeze through. Just beautiful! The house has 2 fantastic kayaks, 2 great bikes, and several beach towels. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we used it a lot. The laundry room is right off the dining room so it is convenient. There are 3 comfortable king beds. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom so it is as if there are 3 masters that all face the ocean. Easy for all to take some quiet time alone. Very peaceful house. We never ran out of hot water, and had no problems with anything. We tried to get this house last year, but it was booked. It was truly worth the wait! We had a blast here! Would definately recommend this house. It offers family style, yet peace and serenity for all. Thank you so very much! Jay and Gayle and Family"

  • wonderful week

"This home was exactly as described-spacious, private, beautifully situated with long views down the water way. It was unseasonable cool for our time is Islamorada, but we still enjoyed several afternoons sitting on the screen porch, drinking rum punch, and completely relaxing. This home is conveniently located within minutes of several excellent eating places. We experienced good meals at Lazydays, at the Green Turtle, and at Chef Michaels-I would highly recommend all of them. However, for dining in, Mr. Lobster is right up the road with excellent fresh seafood and stone crab especially! Thanks, Chris, for sharing your lovely home with us."

  • A Breeze in the Keys

"All we can say is thank you. You were right, the sound ocean breezes sang us to sleep each night. We've stayed at the Seagulls before, but it was our first time in your condo. It was great. We can't wait to come back. We want the whole month of February next year. Caught my first bone fish on the flats out of the kayak. I used my freshwater trout rod. Whatta fight! You had everything we needed. Kudos to Jeannette for doing an excellent decorating job."

  • Perfect vacation!!

"This was the best family vacation we have ever had! From the moment you turn into the gravel drive, the lush botanical gardens envelop you and you feel all your worries and daily stresses disappear. We were immediately greeted by other vacationers who were eager to help us with our boat and trailer. We quickly unpacked, poured ourself a glass of wine and started a fantastic week packed full of adventure, nature, good food, new friends and wonderful accommodations. The villa itself is impeccably clean and well appointed. The owners obviously have nice taste in furnishings and decorations. The kitchen has everything you need, but we especially liked using the outside grill to cook up all our fresh fish. Our boys loved eating what they caught! The bed was very comfortable and my husband and I caught up on some much needed sleep. We met so many wonderful new friends staying in the surrounding villas. (Even our labradoodle, Potter, made some great new friends!) Most of them have been coming to these villas for years, even decades, so they provided a wealth of knowledge and advice. We listened to everything! We went for a boat ride through wheel ditch mangrove tunnel, fishing at Channel 5 bridge, snorkeling at Cheeca Rocks and Alligator Reef Lighthouse, exploring Indian Key State Park, fed the tarpons at Robbie's, caught the magic show at Lorelei's, watched the sunset at Morada Bay beach cafe and that's just to name a few. The villa is in a perfect location to walk to lots of shops and restaurants. Don't miss the great farmer's market every Monday across the street! We also loved Islamorada Brewing Company, Backcountry Cowboy Outfitters, The Lobster Trap Art, Ocean Gardens Gifts and Latitude 25. We didn't have to use the car all week. If you feel like staying in, the marina is a wonderful place to relax, fish, look at the stars and watch the sunset. Everyday at sunset (which is fantastic) everyone meets with snacks and cocktails at the community table. Bob and Phyllis are wonderful hosts and they immediately make you feel like family. We thank you so much for our cherished memories and we cannot wait to see you in 2016!"
