  • Perfect Vacation Home!!!!

"This home was more than what we expected. Just driving into the gate was amazing. The yard is beautifully landscaped and very tropical with serval sitting areas and plenty of coconuts. We fished and snorkled from the dock and enjoyed the wildlife including manatees, iguanas, nurse sharks and parrot fish. The home more than met our needs with plenty of space in every room and a beautiful kitchen with all the necessary appliances and dishes. The home was clean and pet friendly. Our dogs enjoyed vacation as much as we did. Each bedroom room has a sliding glass door with a view of the water. We were able to meet the owner who was extremely friendly and offered many suggestions on places to eat, shop and fish. Wehad a wonderful time and hope to be able to visit again."

  • Relaxing vacation!

"We had a wonderful visit here last weekend! Another couple and their very young daughter stayed here with my husband and me, and there was fun had by all! It is in an ideal location, as there is a private beach with swimming, chickees, and an outdoor grille. The private beach is truly special - great sunsets, wading for little ones, we even saw dolphins! The home is in close proximity to restaurants, marinas, grocery stores, and main attractions. The accommodations are comfortable and relaxed and very clean. There are 2 bedrooms, and 1.5 baths. Everything you would need is provided there - towels, etc. There is a washer and dryer too, if needed. The owner is incredibly friendly and easy to contact and work with. Wonderful place vacation!"

  • Great place!

"We stayed here for a week in late January 2015. The house is perfect for three couples on vacation. The dock area is very nice and we were able to rent a boat and dock right in front of the house! We enjoyed sitting on the top deck looking down on the dock and water while having refreshments. There were plenty of restaurants and places to see within a short drive. Definitely want to look at booking this again next winter when it is cold up here in Michigan!"

  • Gorgeous, Relaxing, Fun: Can't Wait to Come Back

"We recently returned from a blissful weeklong stay at this Islamorada home. It's a fabulous place for families with young children! My two toddlers loved the manmade beach (which felt totally contained, clean, and safe) and all the beach toys available; the hot tub; having fires in the fire pit at night; and, yes, it must be said, watching their nightly cartoon on the huge flat-screen TV. My husband and I loved the location and the fact that we could spread out and roam around and look at water all day long. And my mom, who came with us, loved having her own room downstairs to retreat to for some peace and quiet. We all loved the coconuts -- tons of coconut water and fresh coconuts the entire trip! Islamorada is an amazing destination and we can't wait to go back. Even the tourist stuff (feeding the tarpons at Robbie's, etc.) is undeniably fun. We loved our experience at the Dolphin Research Center, swimming behind the Islamorada Library, and kicking back at dusk each night at Morada Bay Cafe, but honestly much of the time we just enjoyed the house and all there was to do. We bought Key West pink shrimp at the local fish market down the road and cooked at home most of the time. We also rented a double kayak at Robbie's and had some really great sunset paddles. As I mentioned to the owner, the only issues we had were the slow Internet (but that wasn't really a problem) and the fact that basic supplies at the house (toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc.) are limited. Stop at the Winn-Dixie in Tavernier on your way down and save yourself a shopping trip. All in all, a fantastic vacation. Thank you!"
