"Our annual Keys vacation has been anchored in "My Paradise" for a number of years and we intend to keep coming back. It's the perfect setting, comfortable house, great deck and a dock across the street on the canal with direct access to the ocean. The owners have chosen to leave their personal treasures in the home. They have spared nothing in amenities. The broad sandy beach is the best in the Keys. It is a home not a house and it is on a private dead end street."

"I have been coming to Islamorada on fishing vacations with friends for the past 6 years and love the area and all it has to offer. My wife and I decided this would be the perfect place to spend our honeymoon and rented the house for a week this fall. This house exceeded expectations in every way. Excellent location on lower matecumbe, secluded on a quiet street, but close to excellent dining with many of the keys best restaurants near by. The house also had a great kitchen with all the tools needed to cook a meal inside or out on the grill.
We also rented a 24' center console from vacation boat rentals in marathon for the week. The dock in front of the house has ample room up to two boats up to 26', and the canal was loaded with bait. Quick ride to the reef, or take indian key channel to the bay side. I have used other boat rental companies closer by, but I highly recommend using vacation boat rentals from marathon. They will deliver to the indian key channel boat ramp right near by the house. Just make sure to go slow your first time coming in the inlet to the house. It is marked with galvanized pipe on either side and is tight, but easy to navigate.
We had an excellent time, and look forward to coming back again."

"This property was perfect for our Thanksgiving in Islamorada! Our party ranged in age from 24 - 90 and all of us had a great time! The house is comfortable and very well appointed. Everything is in top condition and very nicely decorated with keys decor. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the little things (like spices and such) that you don't want to have to buy, but you want to have if you like to cook! Updated appliances, comfy beds, marvelous showers and plenty of room for all of us! Although we stayed on a holiday week, we barely heard anybody around us! The neighbors we did see were friendly and smiling.
We fished (and caught fish!) from the dock with the poles here, took out the kayak and paddleboard, and rode around on the bikes -- which are incredibly comfy and stable. The kids even saw a manatee!
The beach is a short bike/kayak ride away -- even has a place to park for when I took my 90-year old father-in-law over. It was a little cold while we were here, but we still managed to get some beach time in! So much to do a week is hardly enough time!
It's just a short drive to all of the popular attractions -- we took day trips to Key West, the everglades, and a charter fishing trip out of Bud n Mary's (5 minutes away). If you have a boat, you can dock it right in front of the house -- next time, maybe we'll rent one! If fishing is your thing -- Islamorada is the place!
I'd surely recommend staying at the Villa Marlin! We felt it was a great place at a great value and the owner was very friendly and accommodating!"

"We recently returned from a blissful weeklong stay at this Islamorada home. It's a fabulous place for families with young children! My two toddlers loved the manmade beach (which felt totally contained, clean, and safe) and all the beach toys available; the hot tub; having fires in the fire pit at night; and, yes, it must be said, watching their nightly cartoon on the huge flat-screen TV. My husband and I loved the location and the fact that we could spread out and roam around and look at water all day long. And my mom, who came with us, loved having her own room downstairs to retreat to for some peace and quiet. We all loved the coconuts -- tons of coconut water and fresh coconuts the entire trip!
Islamorada is an amazing destination and we can't wait to go back. Even the tourist stuff (feeding the tarpons at Robbie's, etc.) is undeniably fun. We loved our experience at the Dolphin Research Center, swimming behind the Islamorada Library, and kicking back at dusk each night at Morada Bay Cafe, but honestly much of the time we just enjoyed the house and all there was to do. We bought Key West pink shrimp at the local fish market down the road and cooked at home most of the time. We also rented a double kayak at Robbie's and had some really great sunset paddles.
As I mentioned to the owner, the only issues we had were the slow Internet (but that wasn't really a problem) and the fact that basic supplies at the house (toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc.) are limited. Stop at the Winn-Dixie in Tavernier on your way down and save yourself a shopping trip.
All in all, a fantastic vacation. Thank you!"
